I live in norther minnesota and regularily go down to the cities(minneapolis and saint paul for all who do not know and can personally say that when your in a minneapolis hotel its either going to to be a run-down creepy shack or a high end fancy hotel.

Was in Minnesota once during the Shawn Colvin tour. I was her tour manager for 3 days. No use going into how that went... Got strip searched at the airport for my sudden departure. (Forgot i had a box cutter in my purse for the merchendise. Great fun in Minni-soda. Will probably not visit again:-)

I used to live in Minnesota and I saw you at the Guthrie in '97 - HILARIOUS. I think I still may have the ticket stub. I just saw you in San Diego in Feb of '08 at 4th and B. You were kind enough to take a picture with me and autograph my copy of your latest book.

I can also appreciate the hotel life. I have a job where I travel a lot, too. It gets old sometimes, but I do love visiting new places.
