  • Clockers

  • I miss Brooklyn!!!!!!

    Classic song and legendary Emcee's........

  • ohh man, how so many heads have underrated these 3 emcees. all 3 should be should be in at least your top 25 emcees of all time.

  • I don't know about all that. I was a fan of all three, but I couldn't put any of them in my top 25 all time.

  • i can understand chubb rock not making a top 25. but jeru and o.c? would be in my top 20 definately.

  • Comment removed

  • Jeru and OC fell off after their second albums. To be in my top 25, you have to have a good 10 year run in your career, not just 2-3 and fall off. Sun Rises, Word...Life, and Jewelz are all classics, though.

  • i don't think all that many had a good 10 year run of solid work to be honest. the person who has been completely solid throughout his career and i mean completely solid is masta ace. of course others have i.e nas, krs, redman, guru, ghostface, ll cool j, these are pretty much the only names which come to mind that have had a good solid career. but those last bunch have had hit and misses. masta ace on the other hand, all great classic material.

  • That's what I'm saying. Not too many rappers can stay relevant for 10 years and put out good material. Even with hits and misses, it's an exclusive club. Maybe it was a changing climate, label problems, who knows. Jeru and OC should've been around longer than they did. Talented MCs right there.

  • i went and saw jeru live last year and thoroughly enjoyed his set, one i'll never forget. just think about how many were solid through their WHOLE career, not many would say alot of names, but when jeru and o.c were at their peak, they are definately worthy of a top 20 of all time position.

  • i love this shit!

  • ●/ You say Soulja Boy, I say B.I.G.

    /▌ You say T-Pain, I say Tupac.

    / \ You say Lil Wayne, I say N.W.A.

●/ You say Flo Rida, I say Wu-Tang Clan

/▌ You say Akon, I say BIG L

/ \ Copy/Paste if you still listen to real hip hop

  • now THATS what i'm talkin about

  • damn this is my shit! why the fuck we dont have the same shit as diz on tv or on the radio? why? why rappers are just runnin after money, and just want to get rich and famous? fuck that! really hip hop lives on the streets! Hip hop means underground! and this song is CRAZY!!!

  • JERU THE DAMAJA , just had a album out,

  • ya playin' yaself

  • Head nodz heavily...

Its beatz like this, & artist like those that make me miss hiphop. I pay respects a few times a year, and leave one red rose on its grave site each time.

  • Jeru kills it, end of !!!

  • Why cant music still be like this. It makes me sad to see what "rap and hip" is today.

  • Wow, absolutely! Who would hve thought that the deaths of Tupac, Biggie, and the New Jack era would be the harbinger of hip hop's slow demise.

  • @timmytoetags

    indeed

thats why i just keep listening to this kinda music and not the garbage thats out today

must say tho theres still a few good artists these days

people like dj premier ,m.o.p ,etc keep the good shit alive

  • @timmytoetags becasue this stuff is either over someones head, or they dont like to keep it real, they want to pretend everyone is rollin around in lambos

  • Yo that is some classic shit right there!! Of course the 1 and only DJ Premier on the beat!!

  • No doubt, Primo a true legend! One of the original Masters of the SP 1200...

  • this was made w/the mpc 60 though i think
