Police cheifs and governer's fault for blowing this out of proportion: those that reported the word HOAX are to blame. This was NOT a bomb hoax, it was vandalism, simply with a battery-powered lights instead of spray paint. To say that a circuit board, batteries, and LED's is a BOMB HOAX is absolutely misleading and evil... any child that has ever disassembled an electronic calculator or something similar could tell...

This isn't even a "hoax." It is a marketing campaign misunderstood and admittedly poorly planned. Turner's intent was not to generate publicity via a bomb scare. This is another fine example of poor reporting.

I had one of these signs outside my office in NYC for almost three weeks. I would see this giant moonman flipping me off every night as I left the building and laughed every time. Not sure how he could be mistaken for a bomb butI am sure going to miss that mooninite.
