Sorry, but wine is wine be it ancient or modern. Grape juice, absent refrigeration, goes to about 10-14% alcohol. Beer goes to around 4-6%, so Biblical wine was about twice as strong as Budweiser. There was nothing, however, in Biblical times as potent as Jack Daniels, distillation not having been invented.
