@jtyoung18 Isaiah 14:2 isn't saying when the Messiah returns the Israelite's will rise out of captivity and nations shall serve them. That is talking about something that already happened long ago - when the Israelite's were taken to ancient Babylon. Then they returned to their own land they bought many Babylonian people as slaves. Also during the time of Maccabees they conquered many and made them slaves - those who oppressed them.

Therefore, although satan attempted to tempt Christ (which you could call tempting), there was no real time when Christ stumbled or considered falling for satan's attempted tricks. My question to you: do you support Mutah? What about Muhammad's pedophilia? What about Taqiyya (deception/lying)? What about murdering apostates? What about fighting the people of the book until they pay jizya?

@jtyoung18 No the heresy of modalism says they are the same person. Trinitarian historic Christianity says God exists as 3 eternally distinct persons. Notice (1) you didn't pick up on this Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven - something only God does in the Torah and prophets. And (2) you didn't cite v. 14 right after where Jesus is worshiped (pelach) by all people - he exclusive worship due to God alone in the OT. No creature can ever receive pelach. Why did you skip that?

Somethings are just not for us to know because He has not given us the wisdom to know. But seek ye His kingdom and all shall be added...Hebrews gives a distinct difference in how His diety is stated. "Therefore God, your God..." God is a jealous God and doesnt share His glory with anyone. Furthermore, having an understanding of His Word is given as a gift each day we abide in Him and He gives us what we need for each day. Faith is the only action that pleases Him. So yes, Jesus is God.

@fettkatt87 That's the heresy of modalism started by Praxeas in the 3rd century. He was refuted by Tertullian and his teaching was rejected by the Christian church until today. God's one being existing as three eternally distinct persons. Being is "what" you are. "Person" is who you are. The Father and Son are distinct in "who" they are (person) but one in "what" they are (substance). Thus at the baptism the Father's in Heaven, Jesus is in the water and the Spirit's in the sky(Luke2)

Well why did he have it in the first place? Do creature's get to rule allah's kingdom shirk-boy? See Dan. 7:13-14 where Christ is granted the kingdom in connection with Him receiving the pelach worship due to God alone. Bible teaches Trinity, doesn't say it. Like how Quran teaches Tauheed but doesnt say it

@KeithTruth To be fair to the Messiah, the reason He was given the right to be Lord is because although He was ordained Messiah, He treated himself like a mere man, and in Him it was time for the old ways to come to an end (Ezekiel 21:25-27) and time for the world to have an understanding of Him Who is True. (1 John 5:20)

Because He was humble, although He was king, that's why God made Him Lord (Isaiah 52:13).

You could be Unitarian, and Muslims still won't agree with you...

But Christ reveals not only that he is one in communion with the Father but one in being - something we will never be. For example Christ says He's the first and the last (Rev. 2:8) just like YHWH says in Isaiah 44:6. This shows they are one in being. Also in John 6:16-20 the sea became rough, the disciples were scared and Jesus said "I AM do not be afraid." This is what YHWH does in Isaiah 43:2, 5
