this was a terrible program. from what ive seen, most of the cars traded in really werent in that bad of shape, and think of all the poor people who need a car but cant afford a decent one that couldve gotten these for cheap. used car dealers are hurt, maintenance shops are hurt, and the environment is hurt from the fumes of seizing engines and crushed car bodies that will be piled up in junk heaps everywhere. but thats the US government at its best for ya.

In fairness, two of them are entertainers, so we expect a certain level of hyperbole. But why do we expect that from politicians? It's doesn't matter if it's George "Mission Accomplished" Bush, Nancy "They Never Told Me" Pelosi, or Joe "Barack Will Be Tested" Biden -- their inability to tell the truth hurts us all.

And to say "tin foil hat"? Dismissive is a weak retort.

Great catch on the news, thanks! USA Today reports that about half the NY-area dealers have pulled out of the program, since NO ONE has been paid yet. And these are the people who want to run our health care?

I agree. Her tone is like fingers on a chalkboard, her policies are nightmarish, and her attitude toward the political process is the definition of what's wrong with politics.

But we can't let her lousy management skills be the only reason she fails - and often, it is! We've got to stand up to her bad policies, tell truth to her lies and find someone who believes in service to the people.
