@berenjervin If she is imprisoned after her trial (which in my opinion is very unlikely) it will not be merely because she "hurt someone's feelings".
If her children are still in the care of the local authority (which IS likely) it will not be because she "hurt someone's feelings" but because in her present mental condition she is deemed to be not a fit and proper person to look after them.

Case 1 - victim physically attacked by 4 people and left bleeding and battered.
Result - a warning because they were not used to drinking alcohol (muslims).

@berenjervin Croydon Social Services will have been under a statutory obligation to take the child into care, not because of the mother's infamous rant, but primarily because:
1) the mother was drunk in charge of a child in a public place (which if so is IN ITSELF an offence for which she could - and SHOULD - have been arrested), OR -
2) the mother was under the influence of an intoxicant or drug during the incident and not in a fit state to be in charge of the child, and -

(As regards the matter of being drunk in charge of a child, a woman in the UK was recently sentenced to 11 months imprisonment for this offence).
