  • she must teach with NORTHEN DIALECT not SOUTH

  • I don't understand why people are criticizing her pronunciation. I'm Vietnamese and that's how I pronounce these words/phrases as well.

  • Folks! WHY bad accent?! She's using southern dialect, IT IS NOT THE SAME as normal vietnamese!

  • shut ur ass

  • PLZ add the regular spelling next time my goodness.

  • Thank you so much for posting these useful words and sentences. I work in a day care and have 3 different families that are Vietnamese. I would like to be able to relate and communicate with the kids on a small and basic level so that they can feel more comfortable within the classroom. Although they speak English fluently, I would like them to know that I appreciate their first language too. Please post any basic phrases and words like, cup, book, play, toy, sit down, outside, come here, look

  • Creepy smile when you said thursday

  • 6 = sau (not sao) your pronounciation is wrong

  • @LeeSea09 Actually no. I'm Vietnamese and that's how I, along with my entire family, pronounces it.

  • I think it's spelled phonetically so english speakers can actually use it.

Although I think they should have also included the standard Vietnamese spellings.

  • Haha, Nam is a phrase in Norwegian that we say if something tastes good, like "yummy!"

  • THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH I'm levying for vietnam tonight and I needed help

  • wow you are very good in Vietnamese!!

  • Ugh. At least spell the Vietnamese correctly. Vietnamese fonts are widely available and any computer these days has the ability for Vietnamese input. Plus, spelling the words with these weird phoneticisations of Southern dialect is going to screw up anyone who goes anywhere outside of Southern Vietnam. The official writing system is a little more neutral in that respect.

  • spelling...

  • NO NO NO!!! THE SPELLINGS ALL WRONG!!!!! GOD EVEN THOUGH I'M HALF VIETNAMESE AND I STARTED LIVING IN VIET NAM FOR 4MONTHS I KNOW THE PROPER WAY TO SPELL IT! Hello- xin chao...yes-Da, but you need phonics or symbol thingies for the words!

  • @uniquerinmai dude it is not hte spelling. It's the pronouceation for English people to read.

  • dich sai chinh ta het ma cung post len day sao?

  • @itsmenguyen Đây là phiên âm quốc tế "international phonetics" chứ sao gọi là sai chính tả hả bạn? Người ta đang học cách phất âm mà chứ đâu phải là cách viết đâu?

  • DAT LIPS!!!!

  • The vietnamese spelling disgraces my fellow vietnamese buddies

  • Is "Ngo ngong" (good night) what you would say in greeting to someone at night, departing from someone at night, or say to someone right before going to sleep?

  • @manicmuffin "Ngủ ngon": "ngủ"= to sleep and "ngon"= good. It literally means: "Have a good sleep". So, this is used as a wish for the last time one meet the others in a day.

  • One is Mot. Say it like Mop but with the T

  • Sexiest Lips Ever.

  • I miss indicated tones - since Vietnamese is a tonal language, not having tones indicated makes it tough.

  • It's Southest Vietnamese. In the north we pronoun a litte bit diffirent. :)

  • @VQHung1256 She said she was using Southern Vietnamese in the video. Listen to it again.

  • 0:44 to 0:47 XD lol

  • oh god, i can believe this is Vietnamese

  • she's filipino...obviously im jokin

  • @japorms318 obviously, you're an idiot.

  • @votumseparatum1 guess that makes you a super idiot

  • Some people think Vietnamese and Thai sound similar, but I think Vietnamese language sounds better than Thai.

  • god exists...look at her tongue...

  • The Vietnamese is spelt so incorrectly it hurts my eyes.

  • @triken49 That's because they do it phonetically, like in the Spanish translation video, they do it the same. "hola" is "oh lah".(:

  • Effi1996: actually is "Rất hân hạnh được gặp bạn."

  • like a smelly battle XXXXXX

  • these lips are proud to suck a cock

  • Hahahaha what the fuck am I reading. This girl doesn't know how to write or speak Vietnamese.

Oh wait, it's just shitty south-vietnam dialect.

  • @ChaosBladeEX What do you mean by shitty? X( ! We are just in the same country!

  • Tiếng Bắc có phải tiếng chuẩn ko thì hãy hỏi tại sao chính tả tiếng việt hình thành từ lúc nào? khi chế độ miền nam lãnh đạo đất nước thì cũng dùng loại chữ viết đấy, chính tả đấy. Còn cái thứ tiếng Việt trong bài giảng này thì mình không hiểu nó là tiếng gì? thậm chí phiên âm theo tiếng miền nam cũng không thể ra được như thế (không -> khom)

  • i'm Vietnamese and i forgot all the basic words ( i can't even understand my mum!!!)

  • chị này nói tiếng Anh còn hay hơn là nói tiếng Việt :(

  • Do ma or something like that, atleast is sound like that is motherfucker right? :D

    The translations are incorrect!

  • @sojinYT

They are correct you idiot. -__-

  • @ktrany55 don't try to show how idiot are you!!! As Vietnamese people they know these words are spelt wrong.

In Vietnamese, people usually say to idiots like you that: "Ngu mà thích tỏ ra nguy hiểm"

  • @sojinYT

wow. "don't try to show how idiot are you!!!"

    go to grammar school. o_o

  • @ktrany55 yeah,I know Iam not good at En but I'm better than u in Vietnamese, idiot

  • @sojinYT

im sorry but i just heard shit comon out ur mouth

    can u repeat it? ^^

  • sex

    bu kka keee

  • It is spelled like:

My house is in the city

    Mu duy then mey

    and she pronounces it:

My house is in the city

    Muemey

  • im nvietnamese but i was born in canada

  • Hey, it's not the northern accent, it's not standard.

  • kam ung very much

  • Sorry, Bạn dạy tiếng việt kiểu này sẻ có nhiều người nói sai, thí dụ Chúa Nhật phải là như vậy hay số bốn chứ không phải bung.

  • poor Vietnamese and with a poor accent.

  • @JinZin1986 i don't think this is her native language.

  • I love being Vietnamese but people keep calling us chinese....its offensive:C

  • @discofreak4o9 I know. Sometimes they even call us Korean.

  • can you go slower em so i can try and say after you?

  • The only truth is that she is beautiful LOL

That's why she's on the video

  • oh god, this is not even good Vietnamese :D she is speaking southern vietnamese which is really hard to understand. in the capital we don't speak with such an accent

  • @brookie8895 The problem didn't come from the Southern accent but from HER accent. I can tell right away she doesn't know much Vietnamese. Anyway, the Northern accent is really "cool" and annoying ( I guess cool and annoying don't get along very well, pardon me for my bad English:D).LOL. Northern people, especially from Hanoi, often feel proud of their "good pronunciation", that sucks LOL.

  • @TheTrieutran Nothing sucks here. The northern accent is standard.

  • @Vietnamese0681991 Where did that standard come from? Oh of course it came from Northern people's mouths. So what's the point? Stop talking about which one is more standard. If it were truly standard, they wouldn't pronounce /d/, /r/ and /tr/ as /z/.

  • Holy crap this girl is sexy. Same girl that did another language I believe. I just love watching her mouth as she speaks and some words sound like she's singing. Beautiful and I may sound sexist but I can't help it. I'm big on sexy mouths and voices and to me, it's a big thing when seeing or talking to a girl. Five stars :)

  • omg southern accent, I'm a Vietnames from the capita, speaking standard vietnamese.........her vietnamese is too terrible

  • correct me if im wrong but Vietnamese language sounds very much alike Thai language huh?

  • @aquilalegis1

Vietnamese is an Austro-Asian language and Thai is a Tai-Kadai language. Two language families that aren't related. So I guess not. lol ;p

  • seriously this translation is rubbish... almost every Vietnamese words are having spelling mistakes... what a terrible translation

  • so...the days of the days are similar to how portuguese does it:by numbers.

  • lol she's really good, but I keep looking at her eyebrows move up and down instead of paying attention

  • I only know 'sin chao' which means hello and good bye. Enough I guess

  • OMG it's so difficult to pronounce those words! whew

  • This girl was on the Japanese video -.-

  • Vietnamese is definately not like chinese...I learned chinese...and try to learn vietnamese...and it's much more harder to learn than chinese... specialy the pronouncing...

    Cam on va chao!

  • I don't know how do they come with the strange pronunciation under the English word. But that's definitely not Vietnamese

  • same asian girl for all the asian languages. LOL.

  • oh really !! i dont even know about that dude

am vietnamese & everyday after school I have to go to viet's school to learn viet

but they dont even teach like the way the girl says

I can talk so well but I cant write :D

  • you have a nice soothing voice, its makes the average language sound that much better.

  • LIKE SOMMMMEBODIEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • your english is good! and your vietnamese is cute, but you were not born in vietnam rite? your vietnamese tones sound like you grow up in an english speaking country!!!!by the way, it is not a proper way to spell.... vietnamese.

  • Rat hut hang buhc bawng

  • Very pretty girl - nice brainy-looking glasses. Hanoi here I come!

  • nice lips

  • lol she izz hawt!

  • Vietnamese chicks are hot. I think Vietnamese are better than the average Chinese girl

  • @supermonk3y07 You Betcha mate. I live in Vietnam and I must say Vietnamese chick are hot!!!

  • @supermonk3y07 I have seen some vietnamese chicks, and they ones I've seen appeared to have rounder eyes, and looked like they have been a little bit mixed with caucasian or something.

  • @supermonk3y07 Vietnamese girls/people eyes are naturally round.

  • @anonamese Thats one of the reasons why I think they are pretty. They have naturally round eyes.

  • @supermonk3y07 erm no chinese girls are way better.

  • @pansyed thats his opinion

  • @yelloowkid thats my opinion too -.-

  • @pansyed yea i know.. i just said that because you said "erm no"..

  • @supermonk3y07 I agree. I'm Chinese and I think Vietnamese chicks are hotter lol

  • @supermonk3y07 she does translations in like all asian languages, i don't know if she's vietnamese.

  • @supermonk3y07 bro we don't even know wtf she is, she did a video on japanese language as well, so she could be any eastern asian race.

chinese girls are very beautiful too

  • HAHAHA Right thigh!

  • lol! @ 1 to 5

  • thats a hot vietnamese chick

  • @biglu2 is she actually Vietnamese? coz she did the Japanese Translations too

  • kam ung. I want to learn more.

  • To me, the Vietnamese grammer is quite easier than other language (France, russian) >.<. However, if the words in a sentence are placed wrong position, it will be wrong meaning. Ex: "Bạn khỏe không" # "bạn không khỏe". :)). And Vietnamese pronounce is very difficult for foreigner.

  • Hi is not sin chao it's xin chao btw 4 is purnounce like noodle

  • WTF! The pronunciation was right but the writing is completely wrong. It should be like this: Good Morning - Chào buổi sáng and not "Chao boo sáng" Good Night - Ngủ ngon and not "Ngo ngong" Hello - Xin Chào and not "Sin Chao" Yes - Dạ and not "Ya" No - Không and not "Khum" Thank You - Cảm ơn and not "Kam Ung" How are you - Bạn có khỏe không and not "Bang koa kwueh khum" Please - Xin mời and not "Sin muhoi" DON'T LISTEN TO THIS GIRL BECAUSE NO ONE IN VIETNAM TEACH LIKE THIS
  • @AndyIsBack94 I think maybe it is international transciption. Anyway, "chao boo sang" look so funny :))

  • @AndyIsBack94 you are right!! The writing is REALLY FUNNY (maybe it shows how to pronounce words, not how to spell them ?!?).

  • is it just me or does all the words sound the same... ?

  • I'm a Vietnamese. I can see this girl was sooo wrong in pronunciation, and her writing was totally wrong, too. Who is she? Vietnamese language master... LOL

  • damn this girl is sweet

  • I like how vietnamese has the tonal language!

  • Hahah! I like this language. It's very goofy looking when you spell it phonetically

  • ĐCM viết sai lỗi chính tả tùm lum mà đòi dạy người khác...ngu vãi hàng.

  • Vietnamese is a nice language, but it sure sounds like simlish

  • iam vietnamese and vietnamese is not the same as chinese for anyone who is woundering

  • @synasta562 That's an ugly ass thing to say -.-

  • WHO WOULD WANT TO LEARN THE UGLIEST LANGUAGE IN THE WORLD?

  • @synasta562 umm its not ugly ebcause i speak it soo u ned to back up

  • Bleh... Obviously the only reason they got her is because she's East Asian. -s- is retroflex. -th- is interdental fricative, -ch- is palatal. Almost all of these videos are misleading and I urge you not to rely on them, lest you be misunderstood or laughed at.

  • the spelling is phonetic it's the same for the other languages

  • okay okay girl i don't know whether you're a vietnamese or not maybe you are but honestly, if you want to teach people our language, plz check your spelling first. I'm vietnamese and im pretty sure she spelled some of the words wrong...-_- but good accent btw. -_-

  • so easy you guys are noobs o forgot im vietnamese

  • haha this is easy...

    owait, forgot grammar part.

  • omg, i was watching this and thinking almost all the spelling is wrong! and most of it is, for the record.

  • i love is. Vietnamese is such a soft language.

  • shes so cute she looks like chicken little:D

  • it's sounds so complicated!!!

  • I like the Pronounciation of these :)

  • does anyone know the translation for : DETERMINATION???/

  • mai lan

  • Good Night = DING DONG !! AWSOME!

  • is it southern vietnamese or northern? i don't really know, but they're slightly different, right?

  • @evaberlin That's a southern dialect; northern dialects are slightly more slurred, but the difference in their notation is pretty strong. However, they're still similar enough to get by, as far as communication goes.

  • @kr8tos1 ah.. i see.. thanks for the explanation!

  • @evaberlin : yes, she's from southern, so some words she uses r not grammar word: "yes" --> "vâng", not "da"

  • She has a beautiful accent.

  • @dangoat2009 Which accent? Vietnamese or English?

  • @nguyenphuhi the English accent is beautiful and clear, and while I don't know much about her Vietnamese accent technically, it is clear, and her voice has a beautiful music in it which I heard only once while I was in Vietnam. Tonal languages are difficult to speak beautifully even for native speakers. Lovely!

  • like a SOMEBODDDDDDDDy

  • Hi WatchMojo - do you have any video on 'Malay Language Translations'?

  • She's definitely a Vietnamese - American. That's why her Viet accent is not really correct.
