You made a common mistake...... the images are swapped.

the right eye image should be in the left half of the screen and viceversa. correct it and upload again.

It's good, but could have done with a bit more "stretch" (as it's called in 3D parlance.) Let's see some more, and with a bit more depth. Remember, on the small YouTube picture we see, you need more left/right difference than on the big cinema screen.

@fmatteo93 That is not what he's saying. ChlvOxD simply meant that you cannot just map 2 identical views into the 3D system and expect it to magically be 3D. You need 2 different angles for 3D to work correctly.

channel 4 had to make to program viewable to everyone. This means that they couldnt make the tv shows in true 3D because people without glasses wouldnt be able to watch it. so they had to comprimise by not colourising the images to much.

It can be in red blue, just click the little arrow on the 3d viewing style and select Red/Cyan full colour. ;)

Thank the YT gods we can now select parallel to free-view these videos! Cross-eyed is unnatural, can't be maintained, and hurts. Parallel is the same as looking through a window, not at the glass.

Timeshifting to get 3d doesn't work well with this shot.

Some parts of the image look somathing 3d-ish but most of it is garbage and hurts my eyes.

You need a perfect constant sideways movement for timeshifting to produce anything good in 3D.

Everyone ranting that the 3D effect is difficult to achieve with parallel or cross-eyed: It's not, it just needs practice. It seems impossible the first few times you try, but after not very much practice you will be able to view it very easily.

Now go and play 3D stereogram tetris for a while (it's parallel, not cross-eyed) ;)

yea... I watched the flowers demo on here, and as the vdeo is much longer it gives you time to perfectly adjust. once you have the 3 images and you concentrate on the middle one, it is very blurry at first but after say 30 secs with no effort your eyes adjust themselves and i can watch the 3d video cross eyed in almost as much detail as without crosseyed... but in 3d aswell. Does that make sense?

just cross them by looking at your finger and bring it to your nose. when you can do that, do it with this vid and you should see 3 different things. pause the vid and stare at the middle one until it becomes clear. it might take a while to do it but you will get the hang of it.

Nope. There *should* be an option for crosseyed in which you just go crosseyed and look at the middle of the three pictures you see. - It will slowly come into focus.
