if not the best song of 1980 one of the best. i wish i would have hitchhiked and saved school lunch money to see them on this tour. i was too young to drive and didn't know anyone my age going to see them in 1980. i think this was their best song until heart '85 came out.
Next to their version of Led Zep's "Rock n Roll", this is my fave Heart tune. I just love the "Rock me out" fadeout. Takes me back to 1980 and sophomore year of HS.
they used to come into the restaurant i worked at in the mid-80's. Ann has a mansion jsut a few blocks away. they are very cool in person, total artists for sure! fun too, they gave me back stage passes twice to shows i had already bought tickets to. steller pipes on Ann, not too many ladies in rock can belt like her!
@Raptorizor There does not seem to be any live recording that I can find; unfortunately, a kick-a-- song that has fallen by the wayside. I remember when I first bought this album in 1980, this was one of my favorite songs.
The R&RHOF is run by a bunch of RSM-type music snobs. They don't admit a lot of groups that appeal to the middle class masses living in the suburbs unless they have a (liberal) political edge (Springsteen, Mellencamp) or are just too popular to ignore (Led Zeppelin, Madonna, Van Halen). Instead we get a lot of people the average rock listener has never heard of.
Heart was very popular and distinctive enough to deserve admittance: awesome vocals and mainly female group that wrote its own songs.

Such a surreal feeling to this song w/ the vocals and music all mixed in together. Love Ann's hooks at the end, she's amazing!
