I too always wanted another one Mr. Doohan. But their is also incredible merit in keeping them wanting more. And Star Trek VI, a truly worthy final film for the original cast, certainly did just that! However I am grateful that we got to revisit Scotty a couple more times after this.

Saw him at a convention once in the late 90's, and he was very fan-friendly. Generous with his time, accomodating, and a straight shooter. After his Q&A session on stage, the organizers were trying to pull him away but he still insisted on mingling with the crowd and shaking hands a while longer. Thanks, Jimmy!

@Mogh - I literally ran into him (LITERALLY rounded a corner and ran into him) ...stood and talked to him for about 20 minutes...very personable guy, very nice and seemed very sincere in his liking of his fans...I was sad to hear of his passing years ago...
