I can't be the only one who sees that the intro to just about every remake of a Mario game is the Underwater theme remixed. This, Super Mario World on GBA, Super Mario Bros 2 on GBA, etc

@bogercs The SMB3 for NES ACTUALLY HAVE BACKGROUND MUSIC!, the same song from this intro, I don't know why people always said "SMB3 has no music at the title screen", I have a SMB3 with song at this screen. God! I feel into the twilight zone!!!!

@TheWolvesMaster Are you sure, because i have the SMB3 to my NES, and it aint got no music in the intro. Also, a friend of me has the game too, and there is no music in his games intro either...

LOL, That game was so much amazing, I must say that those mario games were much more difficult to do than the new ones. Like New Super Mario Bors Wii. Ok, the graffics are awesome, but the game is such easy. But this one, the graffics are ok, but the game, near the end, was getting pretty tof to do LOL!!!

Something aint right, in SMB3 if something hits u (like the turtle in opening screen) u wont get all the way small again if you're beyond big (flower etc..)

But in the opening screen he goes all the way small again...anyone ever noticed?

huh! It's been a while since I've played, but is that true? Wow, I have never noticed that.

It's because in the original version of the game, it still happened like that. Mario and Luigi always went back to small with every hit no matter what powerup they were using. But when Nintendo tweaked the game for its release in English, they decided that system was too harsh, and changed it so the Marios only went back to Super Mushroom form if they got hit with a second power, and it's stayed like that in ports of the game. Only Mario still gets turned small in the intro because it's funnier.

yes. It's actually a remixed version of the original Mario Bros. game.

this is the Super nintendo version. Look for Super mario All stars. It's actually a port over to the SNES of like 4 mario games form the NES.

It was a historical moment in Mario Brothers history, Mario and Luigi's sibling rivalry had reached an all time high, at the taping of the intro to MB3, a fight broke out between the two, as the stage collapsed and props fell down around him, Mario had no choice but to retaliate, his brother walked out on him and Mario simply ducked behind stage as they sent out a chorous line of Koopas to maintain the audience's attention. It took 9000 roadies to pull the brothers appart in the parkinglot.
