what the fuck, nothing buitiful about detroit, you gay ass art fuckers always got to flock to fucked up places and act like it's buitiful. i hope you ass gets mugged in detroit someday.
I saw this for the first time Sunday afternoon. "eyesore"? Yes, it is. But it's provocative and interesting and it drew me in. It's strange and ugly and bizarre and creepy and wonderful all at the same time. Out of the ashes and blight springs forward a new life. Unless you have seen it in person, you have no idea what you're missing. I was freaked out and enticed at the same time. Very interesting, very cool.
Eye sore? dumb fucks, detroit dosent know the deffination of an eye sore. and the reason he did this is to stop the neigherbors from selling crack in the 80's figuring it would draw attention to the area... which it did, know your facts before you state your opinion. People who dog this have never been to detroit and can talk shit from the comfort of their computer in their whack as fuck suburban neigherbood. I love this shit hole city, no one can fuck wit it. fuck ya'll wud up doe.
Very interesting ! I've seen alot of pictures and a few newsclips about this project and it seems to be doing good for the area. Let'shope Detroit can reinvent itself and become a safe, productive and vibrant city again.
He did it because there were so many houses burning on the street and the city didn't have the money to do anything about the old, dilapidated buildings that were unsafe and scary to look at. Also he was uncontrollably jobless at the time. Would you rather have it look more satisfactory to you and quietly have people being burned or raped on the street? Or would you like to lend a hand and make it what you would like to look at? Or would you like to complain about it from a safe distance?
I love this project..it shows how wasteful society is..we throw everything away..and this here..well he's recyling what you throw away and creates art...It's inspiring. Raw Art!
it its so ugly, but its the art of ugly society. what do u expect, the area is ugly, the lives lived are ugly, the art they make will be ugly as well, but it is what it is.
fuck u bitch, ur greedy fuckin ass think u can talk shit to us cuz we strugglin, this project aint spose ta look good it spose ta mean somethin, somethin people like u would never understand.
Its great that people are trying to show their ideas but it looks even more trashy then a dilapidated building. They need to start picking up their trash and clean up the surroundings instead of showing what they think by making a garbage pile!
why would the city buldoze this when there are actually much worse and unsafe parts of town that just sit there and they dont worry about changin that.
Heidleburg is testament and and a protest of that society. If you cannot see this you are bilnd. Ofcourse it used to scare us. Go at night.... back in the day....
"Used to mess with peoples heads", "society has deranged your mind" "gayland".. Are you kidding me this bullshit? The heidelberg project may not be the most beautiful art but its still art. Its one of the most unique things I have seen.
It really is a shame to have you ignorant fucks apart of society.
Yeah well that is my opinion. It looks like shit. Stapleing teddy bears to the side of a house isn't expressing anything but bringing the neighborhood value of homes further down and having too much time on your hands. Everyone i have ever drove down there with have had the same response and it is, "are you kidding me.." It's an eye sore. opinion*
Art rises from all walks for all reasons. The messages are not always what we can view and understand .
They are messages just the same. America has been lost to the greed of the "super-class" . Greed destroyed Detroit and it will be greed that destroys the rest of our country. We are viewing our demise ~
Really liked your video. Enjoyed the editing with the music. Going to see the Heidelberg Project today -- thanks for the preview. What is the music in your video, by the way?
if i make a turd out of different colored playdoh is it still art or a depiction of a turd?.....or just a bunch of shit?

I think some of these artists may have found their way to an abandoned drive in theater. Check out the "snack bar graffiti at the plainfield" clip!

I went here today and I am still in shock. It was so bizarre and crazy, yet I loved every part of it. Can't wait to go back.

This is an embarrassment to all Detroiter's. It looks like a dump, but so does the surrounding area as well. This is what acid does.

this is bad art...
it is used to mess with ppls heads... its degrading insulting and demoralizing to the human spirit.
if you like this bad art its because society has deranged your mind...
you need help before you turn to eating excrement as a gourmet delicacy ...
