  • A beautiful town vid! But ... (only) German Wharf? I also learned of many Hollanders (Dutch) who went to Bergen during the Hanseatic Days and whose offspring mixed with Germans and Norwegians.

BTW:Who is the singer/vocalist of the beautiful song and what is its title?

  • @LankaDutch

The trade was probably dominated by the Hanseates ref:

"The shrewd dominance of Hanseatic commercial power is best demonstrated by its dealings with Norway through the Hansa port, Bergen. The monopoly made the Hansa wealthy."

Singer: Torhild Nigar (Norwegian). Song ...?

  • @jackrjohanson Thank you for the additional information!

    God's speed!

  • @jackrjohanson According to the guys at unilang.org the song is called "dit inn ditt hjerte bor" (wherever your heart lives) from Torhild's Album Stille Vann (still water) released in 1994
