i realize it was essential to the plot and im not necessarily complaining about it, but i never really liked it when home movies did simpsons/family guy-style media parody like the infomercial mcgurk buys swords from. one of the great things about hm is that it's such a small (hee hee!) and minimalist show. its just about 5 characters whose interaction with the wider world never goes beyond interactions with weirdos like lindenson and fenton.

i dunno, im just thinking out loud right now.
