  • Did WB take on Flescher's practice of post-synchronization ad-libbing.

  • A sheepskin?

    I didnt get that one?

  • @ABW941 In the old days diplomas were called sheepskins.

  • I remember loving this cartoon as a kid, but I've never seen the uncut b&w version.

  • And always remember...SILENCE IS FOO!!

  • Daffy is not just crazed, he's certifiable.

  • HUSH YO MOUF! SILENCE IS FOO!

  • 2:18 classic daffy duck.

  • this looks way better in black and white than it did when they colourised it. oh and this is bob clampett's daffy the best version of daffy duck.

  • What is the name of the tune at 4:09? I've heard it in many of the Warner Bros. cartoons.

  • Porky: Hey! what's the ba be ba be ba be big idea?!?! - I could watch that one trilliions times and still find it hilarious!

  • Anyone wish that they had Daffy as a doctor?

He's such a screwball... and that's why we love him!

  • This is what UK showings of the Looney Tunes would sound like.

  • The Doctor Duck kicks out Daffy!

  • daffy is the dumbest doctor ever

  • Daffy was on something powerful back then.

  • Bob Clampett was insane!

  • Lol I like rhea better than the new ones

  • Those of us that have had surgery don't find this humorous.

  • Anybdy else watching this cause of Comickitty?

  • Bill Holman, in his "Smokey Stover" comic strip, used to feature references to "Foo" all over his daily and Sunday strips. Apparently, Bob Clampett was a big fan, as he occasionally started using "foo" in his cartoons durng this period.

  • what the hell does "silence is foo" mean?

  • Hebrew letter gag at 1:22....

  • I kinda wish Daffy had stayed this way. The grouchy Daffy was a bit too much like Donald (although he was also smarter).

  • Daffy Duck at his zenith of lunacy!

  • daffy is at his best when he is undeniably INSANE. they should never have toned him down. this was genius!

  • 4:28 my favorite part lol

  • heh.. I used to like this version of Daffy... especially when daffy goes daffy. lol

these days.. well, I dont think having an ego the size of Cleveland is all that amusing.

(and that bit with the iron lung..CLASSIC!!!)

  • 4:35 There's no points in making those lines move at the bottom. They don't connect with the building, so it really doesn't work.

  • @baxterfilms i never noticed the lines until you pointed that out, but i did look for it in the color version of it and it looks like they fixed it, somewhat.

  • its amazing how in the depress era 30s ppl made great cartoons masterpieces with low money and limited technology, now 2011 in the new era of money and technology when u watch tv u feel so depressed... :P

  • @redwyvernMS exactly

  • @redwyvernMS So true. Things are so different today.

  • @redwyvernMS People had a sense of humor back then.Today every body walks around waiting to be offended.

  • @redwyvernMS its amazing how emo you can be, people make good cartoons these days as well, but I guess you want to run down everything :p people have been depressed in the past and present.

  • did somebody know where can i find the acme theme u know the factory theme :D

  • @redwyvernMS I think you're talking about "Powerhouse" by Raymond Scott. There are several postings of it here on YouTube, I believe. It was in a lot of these Warner Bros cartoons whenever they'd be in a factory.

  • @StormsongK I should add that the specific part you're thinking of, if I'm right, starts about halfway in, so if you start listening to it and it's not what you were thinking of, just skip to the middle. Hope this helps!

  • Hush yo mouf!

  • i love the old daffy

  • Daffy and his big head. 3:07

  • When I was young, I was used to watching Warner Bros. Cartoons with their original soundtracks and the Low Pitched soundtracks. Now that Looney Tunes is back on CN, I'm now used to listening to the sped up soundtrack.

  • high pitch +1
