Duluth Pack Wildland Firefighter Pack - Backpack

These packs are incredibly uncomfortable. I have not wore any other type of packs made by this company. The rivets dig in everywhere they make contact and the brass buckle as well. The way the pack is designed its impossible to carry the weight on your hips, only took about 20 minutes wearing this type of pack for my fingers to start tingling. Wildland Firefighters for your own sake avoid these packs.

Still have my web gear from the early 80's. No where near as comfortable as the one shown. LOL My memories cannot be taken until I die.  I'm 51 years old and appreciate all the work these people do. Deployed my shelter more than once. Try it on folks, it's your only chance of surviving a burn over!

Ok, now I see why it costs so much more than your other packs. It kinda looks like a wanderer only with an extra pocket on the bottom on your website. It's quite a bit different.
