Hmm,,,when im making parry(any) my tip of a foil trys to stay allways in line to target...so i can make or parry or opposition with blade and it will be one lamp...
you can see that point is not looking on target, so its possible to avoid parry....

Very nice work, indeed. Though I think the tip of the weapon opens slightly more when the parry is performed, making the fencer lose his target for a moment and making the riposte a little slower than it could be. You can see the result when the tip lands below the adversarie's chest.
Anyway, this is only my opinion based on what I have learnt and I enjoyed a lot your video, especially for giving a definition and explaining the actions.
Around the 2 minute mark, this video contains some of the best examples of Quarte Direct Riposte out there. Perfect examples for any level fencer. Nice!!
