  • I got a brain twister for you I have a 1999 Chrysler Town and Country LXi Vin# L I have replaced the Belt tensioner pulley 2 times because it was chirping when the engine was running Now the last replacement was done using a Gates Steel Pulley and it still squeeks I can spray WD40 on the bolt holding it and it stops for a few minutes and comes right back What would cure this Problem?

  • At over 200.000 miles I would have bought new rotors. Worn [thinner] rotors will warp easier.

  • U got it easy ... i hade to take the whole hub off on my 88 Chevy silverado

  • very trippy video.... yea i had to make sure i was seeing straight

  • im guessing the motion on the video is some sort of stabilization effect? right?

  • looks like your camera lens is warped

  • whats up with the weird camrea effects, making me motion sick.

  • @delamaize

    2nd that

  • Good vid thx

  • jv65, you are correct. I did touch them before I was in traffic but didnt mention it in the video. My Bad.

  • Bad techniques:

Never let your calipers hang by the hose, use a clothes hanger..

Place newspaper under the brakes to catch the crap

    Use a torque wrench

Put some caliper grease behind the plates.

  • fwiw, after turning the waped rotors they may be straight but they will be even more prone to warping...

furthermore, it is not recomendable to do your FIRST braketest in traffic! When finishing the job first pump the brakes a few times to make sure that the pads are seated against the rotors, THEN do your testdrive.

  • I felt like I was drunk watching this video...poor choice to use this effect on a stationary object.

And the jack stands work a lot better if they are actually making contact with the vehicle

  • Whats with shit effects. Keep it original
