The Lord got me out of the drug world in 1973. Truly I was dying. I used to walk the roads at night when a teen. I always loved life, had no ill intentions but the pain I had was beyond words. I had no father. Parents divorced before I was 2. I still hurt after all of these years. The blessing of the missing piece is that He fills the gap in my soul/spirit in a way that the nonsense of this futile world cannot. Obey Acts 2: 38 and meet Him--Jesus--the only God.

i have actually had the pleasure of meeting wayn watson twice. once in high school when he did a concert and another concert as an adult. he is just as magical as his music is. this song reminds me of how far i've come in my recovery of being a two time rape survivor. I know that no matter what God is always there and always is my friend. He's the one that truely understand and knows my needs

You know God Killer Atheist I'd almost think you're promoting a form of religion.Why else would you go looking for Christian music to condemn?How weird a religion of not believing in God. Besides, the excuse of, "I was only doing what I was told" is not an excuse at all. In fact, this is exactly what Nazi soldiers said when they were on trial for torturing Jews. Jesus was perfect and took the punishment of all of us imperfect people. Both the Jewish leaders and Roman soldiers were involved, but not all Jews or Romans. Besides, He is alive now!
The Passion of Christ shows the reality of what Jesus went through. Yes, it is Hollywood, but no matter how you try, it is hard to visualize what Jesus went through for us! I disagree with harleykman, but we can agree to disagree. Hollywood will make more blood, but it got the point across. Who cares where he was nailed, the fact is, he suffered a brutal death for the sins of you and me. If you accept his gift is your choice. Read your bible. It tells the story clear.
