My distant many times great grandfather James Glass hid the slaves in a cave on his large farm in Morgan county. I am proud of him and only recently have realized what courage this took to participate in the Underground Railroad. I spent 7 years living in Oberlin in the early 1970s and am aware that there were still some standing homes that were part of the Undergrund R. R.
