  • 67-62 at the half? did they play defense back then??

  • Players and teams were better

  • Feels like it happened yesterday!

  • I wonder if anyone now in the NBA reach 30,000 points? Maybe Kobe, but he's still down at 23,820. He will have probably have to play another 3-4 seasons still to even come close to 30,000. Shaq is close but he may retire in 2010.

  • Hard to say for Kobe due to mileage. He's one of the last guy's I'd count out, but I think it's easier for big guys to play 20 yrs at 4/5 than it is to play at the guard positions where he has to create so much for himself and his teammates. I could be wrong, but I think Jordan is the only 2 to hit 29,000 in his initial career w/ Chicago (& he missed about 2 full seasons w/ the broken foot and retirement).

Kobe will break West's Laker record of 25,192 for sure. That's a feat in itself.

  • and he did 3 days ago

  • @nonplayerzealot4 true except big men a more prone to injury
