Glad to see it will be easy for you to attach the motor to the clutch. I am in the process of attaching a B.S. 6.5 mower engine to an Evinrude leg it's a 1958 Golden Jubilee 10 horse with a square shaft end. I cut the end off of the crank to mate up, then using a 13/16" spark plug socket ( cutdown to about an inch in length) as an insert, to weld to the old blade attachment, the inside diameter and outside diameter filled in. I might pipe the exhuast pipe through the old exhaust opening.
