@Diatomus Unfortunately, yes, although the difference after the technical program was microscopic - 0.07. In synchronised swimming at that time, it was more difficult to overcome the judges and the rank was more stiff.

@GellyRolll people can hold their breath for quite a few minutes under water. Every time you breath in, your lungs expand. You can train your lungs to expand even further by taking deeper and bigger breaths each time.

@GellyRolll much, much, much practice. At practice my coach has us do things called unders where we have to travel down the length of the pool underwater without coming up. It expands our lungs. I'm nowhere NEAR the level of this team, who could probably do three lengths of the pool underwater without breathing!!!
