  • @XxGunSmokexX97 Hey dumb shit, next time you are in an avalanche you try that. When the snow sets up around you and re-freezes, you can't even move your pinky finger, much less dig yourself out. Idiot.

  • @XxGunSmokexX97 Dude, are you for real? Yes, you do get stuck. It's like being in cement. Ask anyone who has been caught in one, you can't even wiggle your toes. Do us all a favor, get off your damn couch and try your "spit and dig" theory out for yourself and we'll have a funeral for you.

  • @XxGunSmokexX97 Dumb whiner. Yes you get stuck. Can't spit with a mouth full of snow...

  • WHAT A SPASTIC!

  • and no avalanche beeper .....damm stupid!!!! it has nothing to do with being cool or adrenaline addicted this was just stupid as simple as that .... just some dude being lucky thats all ....

  • @oaschlogin Um... it clearly said in the video that he had a beacon.

  • die muthafucka die 6 feet deep

  • LOL the commentary is just wrong... snow acts as an insulator, your not going to catch hypothermia in 10 min. besides why are they out there with out beacons? and if he was really good on a sled he would know that since its a mountain sled you can lean and power out. this is actually pretty common but shit happens when you dont know what to do. but hey these guys look pretty young.

  • @TheSigp220 ahahhahaha dan treadaway will slay you in the mountains any day, and if you didnt know, they had beacons dumbass, he was under for 8 minutes and they found him, thank god, and you CANT lean and power out of a fucking avy you dumbass, its doing what it wants to do, the only people that do lean and power out get LUCKY, you know fuck all,

  • @crazybmxer876 hey man, im happy we share common interests but you need to calm down with the way you talk to people calling people dumb ass just isnt necessary. but i sure would like to know how you know what exactly happen is this video. im mean you must have been there to know that they were using their beacons the video didnt show them using them. and depending on the situation you really can cut it and open her up so you dont get as deep or even out. but hey keep doing what you do ill do me

  • @TheSigp220 oh and also...I know they used beacons he said it...and its common sense to use one....Did you hear about the 8 that died in the revelstoke area? I was there that day. Sad really, when you lose people in them, you feel hopeless when you cant find them.

  • @crazybmxer876 my bad i re watched the video and they were using beacons but never the less i still disagree with you succumbing to hypothermia in 10 min under the snow

  • @TheSigp220 oh i dont agree with that either, its impossible, throw your gear on and lay in the snow on a sunny day? you wont get hypothermia in 10 minutes...maybe 30...but youd be dead before that if you got caught in an avy...the commentator didnt really know what he was talking about. hah

  • booooorrrrrrriiiiiiinnnnnngggggg!!!!!!!

  • espece d'idiot --'

  • and he thought he was a superman

  • is the snow mobile ok? =[

  • eating snow, come on thats a bit stupid

  • @Studas2006 why?

  • Hypothermia!! Certain DEATH!! Nobody knows where he is!! But there's hope. Dan's beacon. Suddenly, there are signs of LIFE!! 10 whole minutes under the snow. He's shaken, but ALIVE. On this day, Dan almost died going for the ULTIMATE RUSH!!! Sofa king gay.

  • they got so bad sound effects for the snowmobile XD

  • is the snowmobile ok?

  • @jwwhite51 No one hasnt heard that one before.

  • Why are they digging so slow? HURRY IT UP YOU IDIOTS!!!!!!

  • so if in the mountains - allways have a small bottle schnaps in youre pocked ....:-D

  • Screw it I think anything can sound life threatening if this guy is doing the voice over

Ie 'riding a swing of death'

  • Hate comentarys like this they dont know what they are talking about...dan sorry to say it but 100% ur fault. any rider should know thats a very slide prone hill...plus 2 feet powder...sorry dumbass

  • the sled sounds like a fucking elan

  • "BURIED, SIX FEET, UNDERGROUND." fucking hate the commentary for shows like these. so fucking cheesy.

  • yeah it's hypothermia you have to be afraid of not the suffocation if you get run over by an avalanche... dude!

  • its suffocation that you have to afaird of, when you are burried the snow pushes against your chest and its hard to breath and every breath you take the snow compacts more against your chest

  • Comment removed

  • bowlview, youre a fuckin retard

  • haha they add so much sound effects that snowmobilw would sound nothing like that

  • So you extreme couchers actually think theres no such thing as baby blue snow pants? He wouldn't have survived the snowmobile ride up there if he wasn't wearing some. "Shut the @#$% up Donnie your out of your element!" Walter

  • Dan Treadway is a vetran extreme skier and snowmobiler. He was not wearing blue jeans he also was not without a beacon. He is a trained profesional risk taker and is also no stranger to danger or injury. If any of you extreme couch ptatoes ever tried any of his stunts you would die. You lack the skills to even asses properly the situation. Morons!

  • yes, he is amazing hence me watching his video...it would be pointless to watch videos of people that don't ride good.

  • Can a beacon pinpoint someone?. or just give a general area.

  • when well trained one can pinpoint the location with an avalanche beacons. depending on depth of burial the exact location will have to be verified with an avalanche probe. to use this equipment effectively proper and constant training is a must. digging out the victim is the most time consuming part of the rescue this must be trained extensively as well.

  • Thats got to be insanely intense. I would have thought Dan's situation was predictable.

  • first off: idiot did not have snowpants on

secondly: why would you even attempt to ride a mountain that steep? that was almsot asking for it right there

third: harley johan you are the biggest chode ever. He DID have his beacon if you would have listened.

fourth: fabre that is all correct if infact he was actually 6feet under in snow if there is too much he could have been crushed by the weight. but at 6 feet that would probably be cold(especially with just jeans on)

  • what are you talking about?

first: he had snow pants on, probably normal jeans under etc.

Second: Why is he almost "asking" for it? you can ski 40 degrees off road

third : yeah HarleyJohansson your pretty deaf or something

    fourth: yeah again

  • at 0:43 it looks like just blue jeans to me..

  • yeah. their blue but it seems like you don't know what jeans are

  • oh yes, because knowing what jeans are is such a privilage that only you have it

  • Those are not jeans though. Just light blue colored snowpants

  • he hasn't even got an avalance beacon? dumbass

  • Comment removed

  • What are you talking about?

    1) He has a beacon on. You can see him wearing it. Then they talk about using a beacon search to find him after he is buried.

    2) He is not a yank, rather a Canadian.

  • What are YOU talking about. Since when did ANYONE wear beacons outside their jackets? They are always underneath. The risk of getting t ripped off is obviously too big if it's worn outside!

  • i know i probably sound like an asshole calling this fake

but i dont think its completely fake i think they over exagerated it a little bit

  • Not exaggerated at all. That's really what happens when you're buried in snow.

  • dicktard

  • That was intense

  • FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU

  • what an asshole to try that stunt!

  • i got an adrenaline rush fah yo ass have sex wit yo girlfriend while her parents home lol then u a brave muuufuckz

  • stupidass yank

  • ох ебаааа

  • he was sooooooooo fucking lucky

  • Damn Dan

  • Comment removed

  • Sledneckers!

  • I hope he learns a lesson from that. Being an idiot will get you killed.

At least he did a few things right though. He brought friends so he wouldn't be alone and he wore a tracking device. This still doesn't mean he isn't an idiot though.

  • he is so lucky

  • Avalanches are what turn average snowmobilers into "extreme snowmobilers".

  • Holy Shit,

  • 0:30 What did the guy expect riding down a 1,000 foot hill set at a 40 degree angle? Of course there is going to be an effing avalanche!

  • jaw dropping, my mouth was open like i didn't even realise till i snapped out of the jaw dropping moment lol.

  • Idiot

  • I agree with trucking1984 dumbass.

  • shouldn't they have set off bombs to have most of the snow go down? that way, there wouldn't have been an avalanche in the first place

  • on an un-groomed hill in the middle of the mountains?

they only do that at resorts and near highways.

  • what a dumbass

  • whoa

  • cool!

  • suck it
