Just got home from my 1st try with a Metal Detecter I got at a yard sale for 5 bucks. Spent almost 9 bucks for Battery's, (2 9volts) went to the park down the street for a few mins. Had Nothing to dig with, except a little tin pull tab cover from a pudding or fruit cup. Found 2 lil fishing weights. I have All kinds of questions about doing this. #1, what part of the disk do you line up to find where to dig ? Nice Ring find by the way. Looks like a Comfort Band.
Very good video, keep it up. Added you to my prescriptions. Like 219erman said, those old lures can be worth some bucks in "as is" condition. More continued success.
On this particular one, it was coming in as a straight-up nickel, probably due to it's being an alloy of gold and nickel. I've had other white gold items ID at other notches, sometimes pulltab and sometimes slightly into the gold range
That 10 k white gold sparkles better than silver...Congratulations on that...Those old nickles, wheat, and you could make some money on all your old lures, and weights & such....5 star video

The shell at 5:20 is an old 3-ringer shotgun shell, if you haven't already figured that out yet. Great video!
