My forehead has that protruding thing too, my brother said I have another head growing out of my head, lol. I've never been in an accident so I guess it's just natural. I've recently cut my hair short too (not as short as yours but I can't put it in a pony tail, it's kind of the length of MJ's hair Thriller era) I've always had esteem issues and cutting my long hair( almost butt length, lol) was the first step to a new self image. I really feel what you're saying and wish you all the best.

i understand you- its almost the same with me, except that i didnt have an accident, i just one day started to think about my looks and compared myself to others and then found that i was ugly. and now i feel like that at least 50% of the time. and i know its obsessive and eventually manage to build up confidence and feel beautiful but then- somebody says something or i see a bad photo of me and i'm back to zero again.

The funny thing about it is, I didn't notice those things until she pointed it out. Now, I'm thinking that my stretch-marks aren't so obvious. They're white and my skin tone is more yellow, so they're obvious. But! As people we all have the tendency to stress about our hidden flaws, and a lot of the time it is not others who expose our flaws, but it is ourselves. I recently did my big chop also. I did it for control issues, I needed to feel like I have back control of my life. and I'm happy with me, my decision.

Hey Babe....you are super fierce! I know where you're coming from...I really do! We have a tendency to be our own worst critic. Even when you point out your "self-proclaimed" flaws...I don't see it! I see a beautiful, soft spoken woman who overcame a trauma. You have great bone structure and the hair is very fitting. Don't be so hard on yourself because people are waiting at the chance to cut you down if they sense even the smallest bit of low self-esteem. You rock super-hard!

I felt inferior when in their presence despite my accomplishments.. I decided in 11/08 that I'd had enough of trying to grow long hair w/ a relaxer when my hair was broken, short, & literally screaming at me to be natural. I do agree with you that it doesn't matter what anyone tells you, if you don't feel good about you then you don't think you are cute. Everyone has there days and since I cut my hair off I have stopped pointing out the things I use to hate about me. Now the things I use to hate I love!

Your hair is looking great! We all have insecurities and have those days when we aren't feelin ourselves but in the end we must accept and love ourselves for who we are b/c everyone else is taken. It's a constant progression so just keep working at it and you will be just fine.

I think as women we all have something on our faces or our bodies that we don't like but it is up to us to make ourselves except what God has given us in this life. When I first saw you I thought "Wow, she is sooooo beautiful" trust me no one notices what you think are huge flaws. There are facial features that you have that I wish that I did but I can't dwell on that. I love your videos and please stay encouraged.

But on the other hand, I know from experience that nothing makes me appreciate a past/present pain/suffering more than the personal occurrence of an even worse pain/suffering. I know that u know that others are so much worse off, but still as I watched your vid, I couldn't help but to visualize one of my luv'd ones who actually lost her eye at the age of two, and another one who although she was between 1-2 when she lost her hearing, still has severe stress head aches and depression over this fact. Hey Babe....you are super fierce! I know where you're coming from...I really do! We have a tendency to be our own worst critic. Even when you point out your "self-proclaimed" flaws...I don't see it! I see a beautiful, soft spoken woman who overcame a trauma. You have great bone structure and the hair is very fitting. Don't be so hard on yourself because people are waiting at the chance to cut you down if they sense even the smallest bit of low self-esteem. You rock super-hard!

You are young & attractive. For many years, I battled insecurity about my hair and always seemed to have women with long straight hair as friends. I felt inferior when in their presence despite my accomplishments.. I decided in 11/08 that I'd had enough of trying to grow long hair w/ a relaxer when my hair was broken, short, & literally screaming at me to be natural. I locked my hair and it's growing like crazy. I feel so confident now. Be true to yourself and you will realize your beauty!

If it is going to make you happy then get it changed; however, I did not notice any of the things you identifyied until you said something. I do agree with you that it doesn't matter what anyone tells you, if you don't feel good about you then you don't think you are cute. Everyone has there days and since I cut my hair off I have stopped pointing out the things I use to hate about me. Now the things I use to hate I love!

Wow. Truly, the devil is having a ball with you. Absolutely no one can notice the difference in your eyes. I noticed the bag under one, but not the other. you are sooooo pretty; I don't understand where this is coming from. Your hair is looking great! We all have insecurities and have those days when we aren't feelin ourselves but in the end we must accept and love ourselves for who we are b/c everyone else is taken. It's a constant progression so just keep working at it and you will be just fine.

I think as women we all have something on our faces or our bodies that we don't like but it is up to us to make ourselves except what God has given us in this life. When I first saw you I thought "Wow, she is sooooo beautiful" trust me no one notices what you think are huge flaws. There are facial features that you have that I wish that I did but I can't dwell on that. I love your videos and please stay encouraged.
