  • wow...amazing skill and the best touch i've ever heard!

  • A Genius !!!

  • Good

  • perfect...

  • One person studied the triangle

  • Slightly. I played it when I had lat 14.

  • Inspiring. I am learning to play this piece and am up to about 1/2 speed without too many mistakes. Yes, it must be a joy to play on a Steinway.

  • two words

    Jack

    Nickelson

  • This is Beethoven as its best. Barenboim makes quite intelligent performances. Wise, sublime and ration.

  • amazing......good performance

  • waittt...can someone tell me where the two against three portion is? pretty please...

  • @StrawberryTwin002 never mind, i think i got it haha.

  • He's great! He plays quick without being hounded, it sounds really good ! I like the trills.

  • Wonderfully played!

  • Wow just watching this for my music theory class to analyze this piece in structural function... But this is an amazing performance! I can close my eyes and really feel you know where to create the tension and played it extremely well. This piece is amazing how long it takes to FINALLY resolve :P. AWESOME job

  • The song is brilliant! I love it! It make Beethoven very interesting!

  • Maravilloso.....Muy Felíz Cumpleaños Maestro!!!!!!!!

  • I like it ..... Okay ... it' a rather romantic interpretation and the tempos are being wildly swung around. But somehow much more satisfying that either the Gould or Gilels. The scale passages sparkle and I love the "dialogue" of both hands in the 'dolce' section. Too many performers seem to shortchange those beautiful bass voices. And the two against three portion is the best I've heard so far.

    Lovely treat.

  • he is argentine!! remember that!

  • Too romantic his interpretation...incomprehensible tempo changes and the strong echo in the recording disguises that he often plays quite unclean. I would never say that I am a better pianist but his playing of Beethoven is very questionable. Though I really enjoy him conducting Bruckner.

  • the best Beethoven performer ever!!!

  • There really isn't definitively a 'best' piano maker in the world. It completely depends on the individual instrument and the player. I tend to agree that Steinways are more likely to sound beautiful and be easy to control, but then again I've played Bosendorfers that feel like the greatest instruments I've ever played. It's really a subjective question. I, for one, tend to think Yamahas are too bright and difficult to control, yet listen to how Richter made them sound!

  • Damn! you ´re goooooood!

  • thank all

  • stunning

  • Steinway And Sons make the best grand and upright pianos, when I am older, I am going to own one, and I am going to be a pianist.

  • @Lawrencelovespiano congrat

  • THANKS! Big time! Someone else who appreciates my dream of becoming a pianist! THANK YOU!

  • @Lawrencelovespiano One day you must: touch a Bosendorfer AND play a harpsichord...in fact a few...

  • @Lawrencelovespiano: I can't agree with you more!!! :D

  • @JenniferLi11 to study and to play beethoven you have to play with your soul i am a pianist in portugal, and you have to play with your soul

  • @Lawrencelovespiano: I can't agree with you more!!! :D Buying a Steinway and sons piano is also my dream!!!

  • @Lawrencelovespiano Steinway And Sons uprights are not the best but the grands are great. The uprights don't last. If you want an upright, get a Yamaha.

  • I love his rendition.

    He's the best, hands down!

  • It's hats down!! =)

    He's the best!

  • Does anybody know what kind of piano he is playing? I know it may seem like a silly question. Sometimes I wish that I could afford a concert grand like that.

  • Steinway & Sons
