I have a question about importing. I am aware that python has only certain directories it imports from, and would like to add more. I am trying to use the sys.path.append() function to add directories, but I receive a syntax error every time. If for example my directory is C:\Python\my_modules how would I write the command? I am running python 3.1 on Windows Vista 32. Thank you.

I don't find any module named "math" in the lib folder, but import math still works.

@Rimmer7 you can see all the modules by typing help('modules') too which is the way I prefer
