Gene definitely had a better signature tune and sponsor than Roy Rogers. Back in the Saddle sounds like the type of a working cowboy would sing as he rode along and he would be chewing gum (Doublemint, of course). I liked RR, but got tired on Happy Trails and I couldn't see a macho cowboy eating a bowl of Post Sugar Crisp as he looked for outlaws
