Nice Job Im just curious did you using RF to charge you capacitors so you wont need battery ? im working on a project like that . do you mind to give me the schematic and a little about how you built ? Thank you

You think It's possible that your loopstick antenna is not matched to your variable capacitor and that's why you're only listening to one specific band?, or that's the only / strongest station around...

@gushhnet well, i'm in italy and here AM stations are very few so i listen to some foreign stations. however i tested it in different situations and i can say: when you use a long wire antenna, and there is a strong signal this set is very good; when you use a small antenna or signal is weak selectivity is not very good.I listen to one specific band because this is an MW crystal set so this is normal.
