  • Go Henry go! Acapulco Gold, Lima Limon, Popo Blue ( ay! ). Purpuro de Uruapan, just some of the "bands" I used to see performing in old Mexico long ago. Loved NRPS, opening for the classic Dead line-up. Still sounding pretty tight!

  • The New Riders of the Purple Sage with Special Guest Donna Jean Godchaux will be playing Island in the Mountains Fest on Blannahassett Island in Marshall , NC on 08-01-2011.

Google Island in the Mountains Fest and come join us on the island.

  • I have fond memories of NRPS at the Filmore East in NY when they opened for the Dead in the early 70's looks like they still have it! I saw them many times then, and still love their music

  • Most excellent!

  • I saw NRPS at a bar in Huntington Beach, CA in the early '80's! I was 16 and went w/my brothers. LOVED them then and love hearing them now!

  • Drug business started somwhat more innocently. Stoner Henry was replaced by the TJ Cartel, Sinaloa Cartel, Los Zetas,...

  • as they got older they got worse

  • It`s a shame that there isn`t more video from the early days. But it`s great that NRPS continues to this day.

  • John (Marmaduke) Dawson died from Stomach cancer on July 21, 2009.

  • "Those items were pushed out at maximum force."

There is no such thing as "maximum force" doofus, force can always be greater. I don't need to debunk you, you debunk yourself with such idiotic comments. As though a dude who believes glares on windshields are ghosts needs any further debunking in the first place.

  • Wonderful, many thanks. Always loved those bands who stuck a thistle up the arses of the CW yokles by playing great Country and singing about weed!

  • I think Ronnie and the band sound great. Enjoying the new album Where I come from too...
