It's simply a great song. I remember the first time my son played it for me many years ago, I had to hold back the tears. Campbell used to be a session guitar player before his big fame and he can play circles around many of the greats. This is a great cover and converts well to country. I like Billy Joe a bit better though.

I think my parents met Glen at a ASCAP function, probably thru Hal David.

This is a great mixture of Glen and Green Day. Think about it...with all the notes on the scale isn't it amazing how they can be arranged and re-arranged with such clarity and awe. I wish I had their artistic vision, but some people are the appreciators and mea culpa. Thanks so much for this...it's awesome.  Well, all of Mr. Campbell's works is.

I find it fantastic that some of the teenagers are commenting positively about this, it shows that even in time to come the legacy will still be there. I am 16, but in terms of music I am much older. Even though only the positive comments are being shown according to the description, there are a good few positive comments from the younger generation.
