Vince McMahon's ego was starting to get to me a lot during the 90s. I know Gorilla Monsoon had some medical problems during the 90s and that Vince and Gorilla were very close, but Vince McMahon knows that deep down in his heart that he should have done a better job of not only booking Wrestling Challenge during the 90s, but also checking his ego at the door. Just because its your company doesn't that the wrestling commentary duties have to revolve around you all the time.
Now why the hell weren't Gorilla Monsoon and Tony calling this matchup if it took place on Wrestling Challenge? Vince McMahon's ego during the 90s and his desire to want to be the WWF's top lead announcer during this period was a lil sickening. Gorilla and Bobby should have called this match, not Jesse and Vince. Vince and Jesse are a great announce team, but once again we have a case of commentator's not checking their ego's at the door all because they want to make more money. Politics....smh
@neomysterio Wow. Great answer. Well if it looks stupid, then maybe you should not be watching it on youtube? In this country we have many forms of entertainment. This is one. We also have freedom to turn the channel if we don't like what we see. I extend to you the freedom of the latter.
Does any one know if some one uploaded Hulk Hogan vs Dino Bravo where Dino Bravo won by a bear hug. And for some reason the ref disqualified Bravo for no reason and reversed the decision. I think match took place some time in 1989. Thanks
@poetyaright the took place january 29 1989 my dad was at the show it was a house showm at the montreal forum dino put the bear hug on hogan never let go after the sumbission so the decision was reveresed it was at the old montreal forum
Hogan no-sells Bravo's finisher, yet Bravo gets up immediately after taking a 3 count to join Earthquake in the double-team! I guess the side slam and leg drop aren't very powerful.
@flipgood89 Bravo along with Tito Santana are known to be two of the 80's wrestlers to of being roid free. The man was legit strong. Compare his physique to all the guys that did take roids, its very different.
@davidvandayscousin ....you have to be kidding me. Dino was like the poster boy for steroid use by this point. Compare Bravo's physique in his earlier years, to his later WWF years. Santana, perhaps. His body seemed a lil more natural, although he bulked up at a time when steroid use was about as common as breathing in the WWF. The WWF road schedule being what it was, it was virtually impossible to maintain a sculpted physique without roids.
@flipgood89 Believe what you wish.... but I've heard multiple times he used to boast how he gained 125+ lbs of muscle with no steroid use. Also heard such things from family members posting about him.
@davidvandayscousin I believe you when you say that Tito Santana was one of most roid free wrestler of the 80s, but Dino Bravo roid free? Highly unlikely. And if you honestly believe that, then you need to do a better job of researching Dino Bravo's career. Dino Bravo was a steroid user during the 80s and 90s. Did he put his time in the gym and train hard? Yes, but the man can hardly be considered roid free. Give me a break.
@lildwayne21 actually my comment was from doing research, check out interviews with the guy and people who were around him. Also saw comments from a family member on a message board once stating he was steroid free. Obviously I cant say I'm 100% right as I didn't personally know the guy...but I'm getting the idea that you didn't either so neither of us can state for certian. Obviously his body is massive but you have to admit his physique is very different to known ppl on roids.
@seikogoldwatch2009 correction hogan was still in his prime at this piont it was after he lost to the warrior at wrestlemainia 6 when he declined physcially
@hoghash78 No, It isn't! This is Hogan at the height of his U.S. popularity. Vince could care less if Hogan could wrestle, which he could and had proven in Japan, all McMahon wanted was a big muscular guy defending american values! That's all Vince needed to get into the hearts of the average american (and I don't mean the REAL native american) and built his wrestling empire!
You want Hogan in his prime? Check one of his japanese matches!
The average Hogan pop on the way to the ring probably registers somewhere around the same noise level as a fighter jet taking off... Simply incredible and amazing!
Bravo wasn't a boxer, or a high-level amateur wrestler. He didn't do any mixed martial arts. He was never known as one of those supposed "real-life tough guys" ala Haku/Tonga.
Hogan outweighs him by 30-40lbs and is in better condition, if anything, the odds are tipped heavily in Hogan's favor.

no disrespect to the dead, but Dino Bravo was awful....he was pumped with so many roids, he was pretty much immobile at this point.
