As portrayed in this interview, Mandela was a considerate leader. His responses both considered and in context -of what the SA government [at the time] proferred. The ITN reporter was using a language that suggests anarchic repercussions, yet not based on a logical premise. Only surprise was how long an apartheid government took to change, mainly due to international pressures.
