I don't think F350FreakstyleV10 knows what he is talking about.A 351 windsor is a tall deck version of the 302 or 347 stroker, and there is just as much in the aftermarket for those 351's as the 289-302's. And I have never heard of a 351 getting 7-11 MPG in my life unless it was in a one ton or something. To prove my point I have a 1968 F-100 with the stock 360 Big Block and I get 14-16 to the gallon. And my 67 Mustang has 318HP to the wheels from a 289 and gets 17-18 to the gallon.
ehh your better off just gettin a 302 an makin it a 347Stroker then if you where to drop a 351 in a ranger, thats just my opinion tho.. lighter,more efficent, more power then the average 5.8L pluse with the 347 you got alot more options on aftermarket parts. pluse if you get a 351 it would more then likley be carburated, where 347 you can get EFI.
