Just wondering, Can you drop in a turbo II motor without any fab work? Since the FB could also come with a 13B motor?

Ive done several swaps you need to change the front cover with a 85 13B and retread the turbo oil return hose and change the oil pan to a 85 cali 13B and with the 12A car is the same you only need to get a 85 13B front engine mount they are very cheap even new.The trans is bit harder but no fab work needed just the right parts an drive shaft.

yes you can the only thing is you need a hood work to fit intercooler or you can just move the intercooler to the front and ff to the radiator

I raced RX7's for years, heres a tip. Never lift off the gas, apply pressure to the shifter for the next shift and just tap the clutch. Try it...

This thing's a beast! My Uncle had a GSL and he said no matter how hard he ragged on it it never gave him any problems, he said he misses it. I'm actually in the process of looking for a clean GSL and then in goes the turbo ^_^ What type of things did you have to do to it before you could drop the turbo in?

I've actually ended my search for the FB, I'm planning on just keeping my NA Miata. I was planning on doing a turbo setup on that but was also maybe thinking doing all motor with some ITBs
