Skateboarding is amazingly harder, i skate with a few friends who ride trials which is 99% balance, only one of them can go further than 20ft on a skateboard, but he can't ollie.

Both deserve props, but skating is just too dope to fuck with, bailing hurts son,even a ollie seems impossible for the rookie, Parkour ain't that hard I've jumped off high shit kept running and hopped over garbage cans and kept moving... Its been around longer than the name Parkour... it use to be called running from the Police!

Parkour isn't where you do tricks while running, it's getting from point A to point B in the fastest time on foot. Theres a difference between that and freestyle running.

William spencer is awesome because he mixes his skateboarding style with parkour, which makes it way more difficult and badass. Since parkour takes technique and being precise, it works well for skateboarding.

@deathsimm I'd say that Parkour can get you pretty messed up too, Ryan Doyle snapped his shin bone in half and had to get 8 screws (and it was on a trick he usually landed easily). Although jumping off shit is Parkour people like David Belle and Daniel Ilabaca take it to a whole different level (25 foot roof gaps). But Skateboarding takes a shit load of skill too, I can't even imagine using the skate board (so used to just using my body).

@deathsimm i skate but ive done parkour once before...depending on how you run (maybe high places like roof to roof o.o) it could be more scary then hittin gaps...but the thing about parkour is once you got all you vaults down (a vault is a jump and in parkour theres different vaults for different obstacles..imagine it as skateboard tricks) than you pretty much got it but skating is a bit harder cause you can be pro but still could be learning new tricks

@deathsimm Parkour isnt as hard as free running which is the same but more tricks and less practical. But they booth take more balls than skateboarding when done by experts. Also free running has all kinds of physical and genetics stuff like body shape where as skateboarding can be accomplished by the average person. But skateboarding does take a lot of skill and learning things can take longer i guess.
