I do have a question about the homework we would receive, would it be possible to ask for extensions and such because of exams in muggle school??? I would my rather pass my magical education but I have a feeling my parents wouldn't be too happy with that, so it would be good to be able to at least ask if I need it, especially since I am in a really important year of muggle school this year and I can't afford to fail.

Two questions.

How much homework will be given? Because I am serious about my Muggle school and still want time for that. If we have homework like in the books (huge essays, etc.) it'll be too much for most people.

One more question. How do we audition for the Hogwarts Choir? What are the requirements?

I'd love to read more about magic and that world in itself, but no fucking way am I doing any more homework than I am now. I tip my pointy wizard's hat to anyone, who's willing to brave the horror of extra homework assignments to be a part of this, but I'd rather go perfect my butterbeer recipe instead. :P

Yay! I got in today, I can't wait for it to open in March, I got a Kindle for Christmas, so I'll be able to read the textbooks anywhere, so exciting~ I just have one question, will we be getting sorted as well? If so will it be a short quiz like in Pottermore, or will it be bit more in depth?

I've taken a look at the website and the FAQ and I still don't have a clue what will happen if I join the site. It seems we'll be working for real people, doing real schoolwork (well, as real as studying magic gets but we do still have to STUDY) with very few benefits. Seriously, you can get held back and if you go on holiday, you actually have to notify people. It seems more restrictive than recreational. All the downsides of being at school with none of the upsides of being a witch or wizard.

@myHogwartsOfficial But ... they're not at Hogwarts. They're on a website which, as far as I can tell, is a social networking site with schoolwork thrown in. As much as I'd love to be able to go to Hogwarts and learn magic, MyHogwarts doesn't seem to provide me with those options.

I know myhogwarts has some new stuff like the student e-mail and the school system different from HOL but the idea is quite the same. Looking forward for it tho :)
