MX5 is a car for everyday purpose. It's comfortable, have great performance per price and doesn't have 100.000 BHP which makes this car's fuel consumption light compered to SLK for example... It's a great car which was proved throughout it's history by being to most selling convertible in history. My favorite car in fact. I don't dare saying SLK is a bad car but Mazda is simply my choice here.
well they might say whatever they want but my dad's slk retracts the hard top much much faster .... i could actually say that it actually retracts it in about 15 seconds.... so mercedes ftw
Miata MX5 have trunk if you have some stuff needs to put in trunk with two people in car. but other car doesn't have it....... mercedes are over 30k dollar and mx5 is under 25k dollar.

He may own an SLK but a year after he bought it, he reviewed the mx-5 and he slammed the SLK for being cheap and praise the mx-5. mx5 maintenance cost is super cheap, too far than MB. While the performance is very close.
