Tiguan is built in Wolfsburg/Germany.

Trust me. I visited it in last friday when I get my new Tiguan 2.0 TDI 170PS. I love my Tiguan.

Has anyone noticed the bumpy ride on rear seats in Tiguan?I test drove one SE model last week with 3 others and noticed the uncomfortable ride on the back seat on bumpy road.

same here. im only 14, but my mom will only get a small suv because of her height. she likes the up high feel of the seats. the forester is nice too, but im leaning toward this car because its a little more upscale, and it has 30 hp more than the forester (unless you get an XT model forester).

Ummm, most folks who want VW want manual, and most folks who drive don't live in cities. Those who live in cities don't need SUVs, even compact SUVs, and those who want SUVs in cities tend to have the bread for a large domestic V8.
