I know David personally, and he had to remove it off of his album due to Simon Cowell. Simon was going to sue David unless he took it off. The X Factor owned the rights to Katie and they did not agree to let her do the song. She used an alias to do the song. (Lola Fontaine) but...I LOVE this one. One of my favorites.

I don't understand the hate people have toward Katie.

They say "artists" such as Treyc and Aiden were better, more talented and more deserving than her but that's not the case.

Katie writes her own songs, plays guitar and piano, has a VERY unique, jazz-like voice and has tried more than anyone to get into the music industry, and will continue to try more than anyone to STAY in the music industry.

She is the more talented and more deserving artist compared to ANY X Factor contestant.

Katie - within contract recorded a song for a fellow artist for HIS song/album.. When contract was ended, the artist was allowed to release the song.. Katie gets no money or credit apart from a mention... Similar to when artists use sample tracks in their music.. Eminem - no love by hadaway. Jason d - Hide and seek by Imogen heap..

The only difference was on a contract when she auditioned.. That does not give her the upper hand

Even though i hate her, i wont deny she has a decent voice, but she has ruined any chance of a career by going on x factor because now everyone hates her fucking life, hence why shes never out of the bottom 2. She may have a decent voice but with no one willing to pay money to go see her she will never be a recording artist and will fade out like EVERY other x factor contestant. (inc. winners).

Katie has now been given a story (most hated girl in the country), and people are now voting to keep her in the show (last two weeks prove this). Now that Katie has people voting for her not only on her ability, but also on this story the X Factor producers have created, she is in a very strong position.

the sad thing is, if she'd appeared 'out of nowhere' and not via the xfactor, she'd be adored by the public right now. The girl has a stunning voice.
