Anyone else notice that in 2008 Tom Morello was telling people that he was far too busy for writing a new ratm album, now he's telling people that there are currently no plans but it could happen.

Now Timmy C wants to make a new album, and zdlr's one day as a lion seems to have fallen through....could it happen?!?

Though I wouldn't class this as a proper new song - think of it more like of Zapata's Blood. Maybe in June we'll see more?! Would be awesome if they debuted some at ragefactor!

one day as a lion is anything but "fallen through", they have just started touring, they're coming here to australia in the next few months as a headlining band as Soundwave which tours the whole country. I think he will keep touring with them for a while before/if they record a new album

Probably the best gig I've ever been to, and I've seen some awesome bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, etc. Rage are in a league of their own when it comes to raw energy at a live event.

Technically new music + new lyrics = new song. I'm not saying it's a "song" they'll record or continue to play in the same format, but it's not something they did from the 1990's to 2001. I don't consider it something permanent of theirs, but it was still unique.
