There I was, alking along the Pier when a car bolts down. Me, a Holidayer, trying to see why Ryde has such a bad name, has no clue that cars can come here, nor did I notice a white line as I was busy looking at the flithy disused rail line.

I almost got hit if I didn't get pulled in by my family!

There needs to be a rail, any child could step over the line and get motored!!!

I noticed the footage of the fair at Simeon rec.

i was appalled at the damage done by the fairs HGVs leaving, which was predictable given the low lying nature of the ground and its consequent tendency to be waterlogged.

The council of course were already aware of this so therefore made great haste in having the damage covered up.

This in a park that was donated to the children of Ryde for their recreational use.

SURE START RYDE....the usual bullshit from this council!

Yes they did cover that up pretty quick didn't they? But not quick enough to stop megetting some footage of it though,I`ll try to find time to put it together for uploading.

As I understand it the council had already made the fair owners commit to paying for the damage to be put right before allowing the fair in the to take place in the rec.

So if they knew that the damage was imminent it was pretty irresponsible,not to mention out of order,of them to allow our park to be damaged in this way.

They have in fact displayed their usual arrogant contempt and blatant disregard for the people they profess to represent. Confident, no doubt, that regardless of how many times they fuck up we are unable to oust them as we can only vote out the councilor's not the dead-beat, job for life, morons we are forced to employ who really take the decisions that effect our lives....Democracy, don't make me laugh its just a sham.

On that very park with my Bro and 2 sis I found all sorts of things that shouldn't be there.

It was like a public park in the middle of Leicester where no cars nor people go.

Seems drug users like the park, as well as beach sex parties as that's the kind of items I found. The usual discarded, crusty underwear and drug paraphenailia.

I ain't NEVER coming to Ryde again I swear.

Might as well go take a visit to Manchester.
