Nirvana is beyond time. In Indian Tantra Shiva is atemporal and Kali is temporal. As I understand it Kalachakra is somewhat similar to the Tantric deity Chinnamasta who symbolizes three of the more less known chakras which are depicted as existing outside of the body.
