i liked valero, not as a person cuz i didnt know him personally and seemed to b pretty fucked up in the head, but he had raw talent and his brawler style is prob my favourite to watch, not the most skillful of styles but the most entertaining by far! he cud hav made an amazing impact in the pugilistic arts, instead of the horror story that unfolded. i feel for kids that are left to pick up the pieces!

A memorable and always remembered fighter, yes. But a legend? No. To be a legend in the sport, you have to transcend it, and that means your image outside of the ring as well. It is subjective though, to each their own.

Manny Pacquiao has been caught having an affair against his wife twice (at least!) by the public but that doesn't change the fact that he's a hall of famer and a living legend in boxing.
I was waiting to see more of his future fight when a very cruel incident happens... Hope there's another talented boxer like him who will impressed and give real excitement in every boxing fans...
