  • Very nice :)

  • you should make a video of the camera taped on the steering wheel or something so we can see how fast that thing accelerates!!!....haha

  • @ROBBY639 one of my newest videos is exactly that man, haha

  • @ROBBY639 one of my newest videos is exactly that man, haha

  • @Xarmy187 ....yea last night after i wrote the comment i clicked on a video and it was it...i felt like a retard, haha....do you have 4.10's?

  • what motor you got in it? thinking of getting one if its affordable? thx

  • @matthewpwns77 Since the title says "5.0" and it's a Ford, I'm heavily thinking it's a 302ci ;)

  • These cars are always fun :) nice video

  • theres nothing like the feeling you get when your car makes you giggle like a scool girl=]

  • damn that shit hauls ass. i just got my 92lx about 4 months ago. not much done to it. but check it out on my page

  • LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! thanks for sharing!

  • bad ass 5.0 man i would giggle too dont worry haha :)

  • sick car man! I just got a 93 LX 5.0 Hatchback, previous owner has already put a good cam in her and a good amount of work to the engine to get her running like a champ...it sounds good, but just doesnt have that mean agressive, loud sound i'm lookin for, what would u recommend for mufflers? I got BBK headers and a Flowmaster cat back exhaust, and the mufflers are Flowmaster but they're more of a stock soundin muffler, just lookin for some recomendations? I'm leanin towards glasspacks

  • @xr100jp if you look at my newer videos you can hear the car better. I have mac flowpath mufflers.

  • Comment removed

  • @Xarmy187 what kind of cam?

  • @xr100jp trickflow stage 2

  • @Xarmy187 do u need special pistons for that cam?

  • @xr100jp no, I've used it in two different 302 motors with stock cams, and it works fine. But you should still check your piston to valve clearance.

  • @Xarmy187 ok, sweet...thanks a lot man! If I have anymore questions, i know who to ask!

  • @xr100jp off road hpipe will really give that rowdy growl

  • allright pussy. u got all the parts on ur mustang but dnt go past second gear.ok u hit third.but u never redline any gear and max out what u got.what the fuck????u must be pussy. i dnt hav no money and run my 91 gt vert .like i said vert!!!!

  • @mustangdanny1 learn to type will ya? I had been building the car for 3 months, so it took some getting use to, and no I didn't go past second because I was on 35mph roads, and unlock your stock POS, mine will actually destroy the tires, and double the speed limit rapidly. Go talk shit somewhere else.

  • haha at 1:42 you were struggling to hold on the the steering wheel! thats when u know a car fuckin gets it!

  • Love the video man, reminds me of me and my pal after we finished his sn95

  • @f34rthe4banger haha, thanks man. Wait for the next one. its going to get me laughing A LOT more ;)

  • man, you sound happy dude, my 5.0 puts a smile on my face everyday she`s a work in progess has new engine new drive train with 50k on her and 373 in the back she hauls nice

  • fuckin a dude i know te feeling check out my fox n list of mods its runnin just about wht u r n just as fun =) plus i got nos but aint gonna run it just there for kicks.... love the car dude n totaly agreed u should not be ablem to buy a 5.0 with out a head cam swap, i also went 70mm tb and a bunch of other goodied let me know what u think

  • did you put an intake on here or just heads and cam?

  • @polchinski123 The car already had a professional products typhoon intake on it, so just the heads and cam at the time.

it now has a victor 5.0 intake.

  • @Xarmy187 nice i am proly going with the trick flow top end kit myself might make a few changes on intake have to do some research

  • Well done mate, nice car!! Love your enthusiasm haha. Sounds and goes fantastic!

  • @gpxr6 Thanks! check out my other videos!

  • Xarmy187,

Were you running with an open exhaust here?

  • @jpgbrookes no. exhaust is all attached, just the tube from the mid pipe that you connect the smog stuff too was open and basically pointing into the transmission tunnel, so with the weather boot missing from the shifter, and the bezel missing from around the shifter, it just brings a ton of exhaust noise into the car, haha. Sounds like its open though.

  • too much timing . i can hear it ping just thru the vid

  • awesome bro. Im getting rdy to put a set of trick flow heads on my car. had them fully machined first. Should be close to a 100hp bolt on. I only hope to be having as much fun as you are in a couple of weeks

  • does sound fucking beautiful :)

  • i subed man and planing on watching all your vids and your stang is fukn sick!!!

  • @Rodger614 thanks for the support!

  • go 14 degrees of timing or just before it starts to make an octane knock sound at high rpm. IM guessing you have adjustable fuel pressure regulator. If you have 24lb injectors dump as much fuel as you can. IF you still have the stock 19's upgrade to the 24's or 30's. try to get gen3 injectors with the EV1 style plug. Sounds and runs great man!

  • @EliteLX no way, not 14 degrees with an aftermarket cam...?

  • @mindfuckerification as long as you dont run nitrous you should be fine. Like I said, if you hear an octane knock it;s too much timing

  • @EliteLX oh yea i know as long as you dont hear a knock it is fine, but i thought you had to turn the timing down to 8 or 9 degrees base.

  • @EliteLX oh yea i know as long as you dont hear a knock it is fine, but i thought you had to turn the timing down to 8 or 9 degrees base for an aftermarket cam.

  • @mindfuckerification personally I would take all the specs from the cam and the heads, find out how much the heads flow, how big the cam lobe is then do the math to figure out what timing is best for your setup.

  • @EliteLX lol or their is always the test and tune method. :)

  • shift a lil smoother when ur speed shifting

  • what are the syptoms of a bad spout connector.

  • @vXLiViNGvXvEv1LXv spout connector is what you remove on these cars to take the computer out for a bit so you can set the base timing.

  • @Xarmy187 haha this reminds me of when i finally got my truck running good after doing the v6 to v8 swap LOL I have never been more excited and happy over a vehicle in my life!

  • was your tmeing off

  • @bisbutt in the other video my timing was screwed up because my spout connector had a bad connection, in this video I just locked the timing out. I fixed the bad connection, and now the spout works just fine.

  • keeeeep makin vids like this !!!!

  • @showcombos23 haha, check out my other stuff

  • Brilliant video mate, you are one of the few people that actually fix the camera in position in the back! Makes for great videos, im building my first car at the moment, nothing on this scale but i totally understand that big grin on your face! Keep on living the dream brother! Mike

  • @AyeItsMike haha, thanks mike! check out my other videos, and subscribe!

  • @Xarmy187 I'm hoping to find a decent fox. I live in the rust belt where it's hard to find one that isn't rusted out or cut up or heavily modded. Oor th

  • @Xarmy187 No. Thankfully i was not injured. The other driver did not yield on yellow to me hem he was making a left across traffic and collided with the from riverside wheel of my jeep. The impact absorbed into my jeeps drive line cracking the front axle housing, carrier, transfer case, transmission, front/rear drive shaft, etc. It was a stock '03 wrangler rubicon so once his insurance adjuster found out how much damage and the cost of stock refurb/used parts were let alone new, it was deemed a

  • @userdaveyman well atleast it worked out for you. What are you planning on getting to replace it?

  • Thank you for reinforcing my decision to purchase another 5.0. I've had 2 in the past. Live and learn experiences but with some money burning a hole in my pocket from the insurance payout of my wrecked jeep, it's time to go back. Keep up the videos and I'll keep rating them. Already subscribed. Btw, how do you mount your camera or what is it attached to or sitting on?

  • @userdaveyman Well I hope everything works out for you, and you wern't injured.

New videos VERY soon, and they should be more entertaining this year :)

The camera is mounted on a cheap tripod and bungee corded to the convertible top frame

  • Dude you are having WAY to much fun, living a dream.... Thanks for the video!

  • @gdahl2 lol, yea, 4 months of working on the car, and finally being able to have some fun with it!

  • what cam

  • @The92gt trickflow stage 2 camshaft

  • Ahahaha...awesome comments! I love it!! Good job on the car. Did you run it at the track yet?

  • @ShreddinXtreme yea, ran it without a tune, I have a video up of the pass if you look for it.

  • nice video man!

  • Goodness.. this car reminds me so much of mine. From the squeaks and rattles, interior all apart (mines porno red too), exhaust note and truck length shifter handle :D

  • Fuckin shit dude! Nice 5.0

  • @Hawkster201 thanks!

  • @Hawkster201 watch my other videos!

  • what set-up do u have .i cant figure out what to do i have a stock 302.

    i just installed a tfs1cam an i bought a vortech a-trim from a buddy that pushes

5psi. im just wondering what i should do before i put the engine an tranny back in

the car. my tranny was just rebuilt with kevlar bands blue line racing clutches an a transgo shift kit. any recomendation will be appriciated.

  • @iosuna84 bolt on's to help the blower is what I would focus on. electric fan, fuel upgrades, such as a 255lb pump, the proper injectors and MAF for how much power you should make, and such.

even with stock heads that combo should be good for around 300rwhp @5psi

  • hey what type of camera you using??? i jw i need one soo i can shoot my new 347 breaking in and stuff thanks lol

  • @bbsombs It's a canon SX10IS it was about $350 I think. good luck on your 347!

  • beast bro..keep up the good wrenching

  • @heavy71chevy haha, thanks, check out my other videos too!

  • i have a 5.0lx n my buddy just got a coupe too,his bros got a gt, his neighbor has a lx heads cam intake and 8 psi supercharger on a stock motor, alot of suspension work, but never got to use it because of blow by,he just finished the rebuild yesterday, theres so many modified hondas in my city that are faster than our 5.0s hopefully we can start turning the tide on them,in tired of getting punked by crx and hatchies with 2.2 L dohc vtech turbo.what should i put in

  • @MIGHTYSAMINYOURFACE It's mainly about your budget. with your budget, and that many friends to help, I can recommend a list of mods that will have you walking all of the cars you mentioned.

my car made more power then 95% of head/cam/intake set up's I have seen on these cars, and that was with 160,000 miles on the bottom end, and one cylinder that read 40psi lower then the rest.

its all about picking the right parts that WORK together.

  • @Xarmy187 well thanks iwasnt gonna touch the tps but i disconnected the idle control bcause my idle has been wacky from 1000rpm to 1500rpm.ok one last question are you gona make the stroker off your stock block?

  • @MIGHTYSAMINYOURFACE crazy idle can be cause by quite a few things. something as simple as your MAF being dirty will do it. so you have a lot of stuff to look at. I would never unhook the Idle Air Control unless it was was for sure the problem, and I only know of a few set ups that had to do that.

I WAS going to get a 347 from ford strokers. but my work cut me back pretty bad on hours. so I decided just to rebuild a junkyard motor, and use a lot more nitrous to make up for it :)

  • its a nice car, cant wait to see the videos once he gets it back together, definitely subscribing so i can be notified

  • @superfly1842 thanks man.

its a work in progress. This video was the first time i felt the new power of the head/cam swap, and all the other work I did. that was last year.

now im just rebuilding the motor, and getting it ready for more nitrous. my current nitrous videos where with the stock heads/cam. the car now makes on MOTOR, what it use to with NITROUS when it had the stock heads and cam.

I will be around 600hp on nitrous at the motor this year.

  • @Xarmy187 you got a list of mods? curious, what size injectors do u have?

  • @superfly1842 most of my newer videos have the list of modifications in the discription. I belive the dyno video does.

I currently have 24lb injectors, but I need to move up to a bigger size soon, as these are maxxed out.

  • Good to hear a 347 is in the making Xarmy. Hope some AFR 225's are going on it

  • @nsinhold soon it should have a 347 if I can scratch the money together. I plan on reusing my current trickflow twisted wedge heads, because forced induction will be in the motors future via a turbo :)

  • @Xarmy187 Sweet what kit? Hellion, ponydown?

  • @nsinhold probably On3performance. with a upgraded turbo.

  • @Xarmy187 Sweet! i wanna see some video's of that.

  • something about mustangs and power make full grown men laugh like little school girls!!!

  • how do you like the 4.10 gears?

  • @88whitenotchback I love them! But I find as the car makes more and more power..... and im now building a nasty 347 over the winter.... that the 4.10s are holding me back a little, as I have to shift so fast. first gear being very very very short. So If you have under 350rwhp I think there the best choice for your gear ratio. but if you make MORE power then that, it might be worth getting 3.73's

  • @Xarmy187 i cant wait to see some videos of the stroker. how far off was your speedo with 4.10s?

  • @88whitenotchback haha, I went from 2.73's to 4.10s, so it WAAAAY off. said I was doing 100mph when I was doing like 40mph.

  • 5500 should drop to 4900 at the least when shifting

  • hope u fixed it your valves were floating it wasing loving timin it hated it lean is fast but deadly but you wont shift

  • damn i love that mean sound.

  • YEA-I TALKED TO A MUSTANG SPECIALITY SHOP OUT HERE AND SAID I NEED A TUNE AND THEY WILL BURN A CHIP,WILL ALSO GET 24INJECTORS AND UPGRADED FUEL PUMP--PARTS SUPPOSED TO B HERE FRIDAY AND AM TAKING CAR IN THIS WEEKEND AND SHOULD BE DONE NEXT WEEK-I CANT WAIT TILL SPRING TO HAVE IT DONE......WILL POST SOME VIDS WHEN I GET HER BACK-THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY AND B SAFE

  • THATS BAD ASS MAN--I AM GETTING THE SAME KIT-U SAID U HAD USED STOCK INJECTORS-WHAT ABOUT THE FUEL PUMP?SEEMS TO PULL DAMN HARD AS IS-GOOD VID,REALLY SHOWS THE POWER OF THIS KIT--I HAVE A 92 LX CONV BUT WITH THE 4AOD WITH TRANSGO SHIFTKIT-HOPE AT LEAST AS FAST AS YOURS!!NOW I CANT WAIT..

  • @warhorserider I wouldn't recommend using the stock injectors, I had mine on there for only the first drive, then installed 24lb injectors, and a matching MAF. you will also need a tune.

Be careful with the AOD. if you look at my old video, my car use to be an automatic, it burned up pretty quick one I started racing, and that was with a bit less power then I make now.

  • I have an 08 M3, and Im hoping to add a GTR, but these videos seriously make me want to say Fuck it, and get a 5.0 and build the shit out of it.

It sounds is giving me chills and it looks soooo much fun.

  • @philritter21 a 5.0 is a perfect car to dump money into, and make it stupid fast. parts are cheap, and the cars are pretty light.

It wouldn't be a car I would daily drive, unless you built the entire car around it being able to be daily driven.

but for the money a GTR costs, 90,000 you can have a foxbody with a three times the power.

  • @Xarmy187

That OR a really nice classic car.

  • @jpgbrookes yup. id like a galaxie

  • what short throw shifter do you have?

  • @mjanese16 Its a Tri-ax shifter, with a Hurst handle and knob

  • I feel the same way when I drive my mustang....v8 torque ftw....

  • @greekooo3 haha, for sure.

  • you may have already answered this, but what kind of heads and cam r u running, and is that all you've done to it?

  • @hemnkyjr If you look in my other videos description I have a full list of mods. The heads are trickflow twisted wedge, the cam is a trickflow stage 2. stock bottom end 302, 160,000 miles, dyno'ed at 321rwhp 337rwtrq

  • I can tell you absolutely love your Stang man..i can't blame ya lol

  • @djslim25 haha, It was a lot of hard work, but as you can see it was worth it. Now 6 months later, im adding a 150 shot to this set up! hahahaha it never ends

  • nice car man, the first drive after redoing your engine is always a blast!

  • @302strong indeed. check out my other videos.

  • @Xarmy187 i would if i had that car as well..lol nice car!!

  • it sounds like the timing is off or a fuel problem

  • do u ever hit your nuckles on the roof when u shift?

    juss kiddin bub good shit..

  • @Boog11487 lol, the shifter is kinda long huh? check out my other videos, the new ones are a lot better then this one.

  • Dude i love your Mustang:) I have a 87 hatchback i just took out the engine cause the engine mounts were wearing off, but then i decided to do a little more. Also just a question what's the difference between a 5.0 and 5.0 HO?

  • @mexican12forever Thanks! please watch all my other videos, rate, and comment them how you like! please also subscribe, Im trying to make my channel pretty big and popular!

the "H.O." stands for "high output" it is a bit of a update from the older 302 motors, mainly in the trucks and such. The cam is different, and the motor has just been tweeked overall to make more power.

back in 85 I belive is when they switched to HO which was a good difference back then.

  • Sounds sick man. Nice work

  • @SoCalJohnston thanks! check out my other videos!

  • @Xarmy187 haha I watched all of them like 3 times. I cant stop listening to that sound. It sounds great. Whats your header/exhaust setup?

  • @SoCalJohnston haha, thanks man

the heads are trickflow twisted wedge, the headers are BBK shorties, mid pipe is a BBK offroad (no cats) H pipe, and its a MAC catback

  • @Xarmy187 Do you have the factory 302 or did you do an engine swap with it?

  • @SoCalJohnston 100% stock bottom end with about 165,000 miles lol

  • @Xarmy187 haha thats crazy man. Are you doing anything else to it or are you leaving it the way it is for the time you have it?

  • @SoCalJohnston for right now its going to stay this way, plus the nitrous. I plan on using 100-200hp shot worth, ill use the bigger shot's next year when I dont care if the motor blows.

toward the end of next year I would like to build a 351w punched out to a 408 cubic inch motor, making 500+ horsepower to the tires, and have a 200shot of nitrous on top of that.

but at the current time, I dont see me affording that anytime soon.

  • then explain to me why not then

  • dude i dont care if its hydraulic if its not roller it needs to be broke in.

  • @lions66666 no. hydraulic cams need no break in. dunno who you get your info from, but you should stop listening to them.

  • if that cam you put in is just a hdy flat tappet i hope for your sake you broke it in before hammering on it.

  • @lions66666 its a hydraulic cam, no need for a break in. check out my other videos :)

  • Nice! Glad it's turning out well. You should upgrade the maf and the injectors. Maybe even a higher lph fuel pump. When I upgraded from stock to a pro-m 75mm, it made a noticeable difference with my explorer intake manifold. I'm pretty sure it will make a nice difference in yours.

  • @GTVert93 thanks! Check out my NEW videos. I did upgrade the maf to a 75mm Pro-m and 24lb injectors. Im having some issues with it running rich at the moment even though the MAF is calibrated for the injectors.

new videos the car is running even better

  • Really Nice Video- Actually felt I was therein back seat..

  • How much power did you gain? Roughly....

  • @kevincolvin I dynoed at 230 before this head/cam swap. I'm guessing im right at, or just over 300 now. So 70 horse power at the wheels, which is 83-85 horse power at the motor. :)

  • @Xarmy187 Nice! I'm looking into getting a 5.0 soon!

  • @kevincolvin well good luck! let me know if you need any information, I know quite a bit about these cars.

  • @Xarmy187 Sweet! Yeah I'm trying to find a decent one for around $1,400. I found a few good ones. I turned 18 back in April and my mom says the insurence would be high. But I have done some crazy things in an 04 Mustang GT Stick. LOL

  • @kevincolvin cool!

insurance shouldn't be too bad, these cars are 20+ years old. Just be careful, Fox body mustangs have almost no safty fetures, so If you get in a wreck, its pretty much totaled, and you can get messed up pretty bad.

  • nice torn apart interior and exhaust leak

  • @2poopie why thanks!

  • Hey man after watching your videos it is hard to deny my pony some heads and cam, like you said its pretty convincing. just wondering how much you dropped on the setup?

  • @therook1110 haha yea, its a HUGE difference.

If you mean how much weight I dropped, The heads dropped 21lbs per head, so 42lbs, with the A/C, and emissions stuff removed my total weight lost was just over 90lb's!!

  • @Xarmy187 I'm actually doing the same so thats good to know how many lbs. will be shed but i meant how much money did you drop on the heads/cam? and also just curious where ya got em. Thanks

  • @therook1110 i found the heads local for $800. but I think total I was just over $3,000 but I replaced a TON of stuff on the car other then the head/cam swap.

  • @Xarmy187 sweet thats what I'm hoping i can do is find some locally for cheap, I'm replacing most of my stuff too so I'm thinking I'll spend around the same.I'll throw up a video.

  • Im finally putting some aluminum heads on my 347 to replace the stock e7s (long story). Parts should be getting in this week, I'm doing a 3g alternator swap, stock fan setup to electric fan, the head install, and a tune for a price I couldn't refuse.. Don't have the time to do it myself. However, after watching this, I hope this is the reaction I have! I'm hoping to pick up 75wheel or so by the heads(1.73rr's, valve job, double springs) and electric fan, seems like yours did the same!

  • @jjsk8erkid good to hear your getting rid of the stock stuff. The difference in power from the stock heads and cam obviously was a bit more then I was expecting.

I had a few issues with the car in this video, if you look at my newest ones, the car is running much better!

  • @Xarmy187 Haha yeah I watched that video right after this one.. Looks fun! I plan on having the car retuned immediately after installation though. What gears are you running?

  • @jjsk8erkid cool!

I have 4.10 gears in the rear.

  • @Xarmy187 looks like it pulls great. I have a friend who has a notch with some bolt ons, dr's, 4.10's and now a t5 (replacing aod). He gets out of the hole so gnarly. My car makes 283whp/363wtq with my current setup and it takes about 1/8 mile to catch him lol.. I have 3.73's in mine

  • @jjsk8erkid damn, he must launch like a SOB!

I was doing pretty good out of the hole last year, But with the new power it might be rough to hook. We shall see soon. I hope to hit the track in the next two weeks.

  • @Xarmy187 He gets pretty close to pulling a tire on the street! Lol, and I have stock suspension on 245 street tires so you can imagine that :P. Well good luck with that, post up a video when you do! Not from Ca are you?

  • @jjsk8erkid well when you get the heads on there, even with the crap suspension and tires, you will rape him.

nope, im in colorado. Born and raised in Orlando, Florida

  • @Xarmy187 I'd like to run mid-low 12's on a street tire and still pass Ca smog, which is why I asked if you were from Ca. because the TFS 2 isn't able to pass smog here unless it's taken to my tuner's "guy". lol

  • @jjsk8erkid with the proper 347 you can run mid/low 12's on street tires.

  • @Xarmy187 Yeah, im expecting to pick up a lot of power, I'm already running with cars that are trapping ~110-112 and run 12.8 & 12.9.. Just want to be able to beat up on the ls1's!

  • @jjsk8erkid lol, you should have most ls1's in the bag.

  • @Xarmy187 Stock with a few bolt ons I can, and have beat a friends cammed lt1, but when the ls1's have longtubes + bolt ons, I can't quite keep up on the big end. I think you will rip on some ls1's with that thing.

  • Good Deal man, Cant wait to get this on my car!!!

  • wicked...

  • very beautiful sound, normally not too much of a fan of the 5.0s, but this is done nicely

  • Wow man, great video, loveing the sound of that cam.. How fast did you get up to on that pull at 2:05 -
