I've been looking for a simple brocolli rabe recipe to try. glad i came across you. and i love the way you present everything- the wine pairing with every dish is excellent. Subscribing now!
I do not dispute the recipe ... But maybe it's better that you put the pasta in boiling salted water for last thing, otherwise you will have glue, not pasta
You're such a LADY and you're beautiful all going on while you're cooking those magnificent meals. Thank you for so sexy an knowing how to be sexy with it...
In the south of Italy,we add the broccoli rabe to the pasta while the pasta is still cooking. Then we drain everything and mixed it with a previously made fresh tomato sauce (8 tomatoes washed and cut up and sauted with extra virgin olive oil and fresh garlic). The recipe in the video is not right,as broccoli rabe need to be immerged in water to cook well,other wise you will have a hard to chew texture mixed in your pasta.
Wow.. Yummy.. Your cooking style reminds me of my own; casual but professional, experienced.. I wish I could ever find broccoli rabe in northern colorado..

No balsamic vinegar???
No garlic???
No roasted peppers???
That dish is too bland for me. That recipe must be for (non-Italian) white folks.
Hoopermazing 2 years ago
she does add garlic. and mentions you can deglaze with balsamic vinegar. i dont think roasted peppers would be a good texture in this dish.

@gordoneriksen
I have a question. Instead of using Broccoli Rabe, can I replace it with Tomatoes and Amaranth :x ?
I can't find Broccoli Rabe or at least, I don't know how to find one.
I'm also considering other greeneries such as carrots and mushroom or maybe even beans ?
Will it in anyway, kill the food's taste ?

@rainy1314emily
Oh, and also, maybe a bit of chicken stock or some other liquid to make the food seem more moisturizing ?

@Hoopermazing I am Italian (non-white ore white I'm not sure what Italians are really considered!) and my family makes it very similiar to this!

@jms5353 - Good for you. The dish remains as bland as tuna and mayo on Wonder bread notwithstanding.
