I love this paring. When I bring it up with people, they are all like "ewww..." But, I have a thing for weird pairings like this. I'm glad more people like these two together :)

@mrsotter19  Okay...here goes. When Snape was a student he was incredibly smart but he was teased and taunted by other kids. Who does this sound like?

Also, Hermione (if you pay attention) never says *anything* bad about him, even though Harry and Ron constantly do. She believes in the best in people, and after years of never getting the chance to trust people, Hermione could truly be there for him because she's the only one who has that kind of patience and persistence to be there for him.

@unnatural6edq Ok. I can't see Hermione speaking ill of any professor. I suppose in time Hermione would have found a sympathetic shoulder in Snape? It would have been nice to see Snape enjoy a happy ending with Hermione (or professor Trelaney or anyone else for that matter). I could see Snape with a much older Hermione.
