if you want good mpg you set to FWD, either way AWD LOCK mode resets to AWD AUTO after 35mph, and AWD AUTO is technically FWD until the car electronic systems feels the need to use the rear axle, so in the end the car overall mpg is high no matter the drive-train mode :)
milage is 10km per litre around town and 12km per litre on highway.
If the black trims did not fall off when driving on sand i would give it agreat rating. But we love the surf and do a bit of beach sand driving and the black trims fall off.
it is white except where the crap black plastic trims have not fallen off. A great car but suzuki has really made a big mistake putting on the black trims. They fall off when going thru puddles or on the sand. Only thing to do is pick them up and stick them on for resale. cost a fortune. CHeap plastic crap
Got mine bogged this weekend on Bribie Island. Luckily had a Hilux support vehicle to drag me out, but the SX4 was going well till it ran out of clearance. Was very impressed. The hilux actually got bogged in the same spot and we had to dig it out anyway. Where is this beach?

Plus your wheels were turned.Straight wheels. generally you should not get hungup on tracks. Just bash the bottom of the car I have torn the bottom plastic tray.I am looking forward to trying different tyres.3 things with sand is speed tyre pressue and experience.good luck in future
